Acting ICE Director Resigns From His Position?

James Kaufman will news report today. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons resigns. Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons submitted his resignation to the Department of Homeland Security Chief Mark Wayne Mullins on Thursday, according to Fox News. Todd Lyons was named Acting ICE Director last March. Lyons will stay in the role until May 31st during the transition to find another director. It is unclear who will replace Lyons at this time. For Fox News reporter Bill Mulugan, quote, I'm told that Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons submitted his resignation to the Department of Homeland Secretary Mark Wayne Mullins today, and this was posted late yesterday. He will be staying on until March 31st to help with the transition with a new director. He oversaw roughly 584,000 ICE deportations since President Trump's inauguration and plans to go into private sector and spend more time with his family. Lyons has served in ICE for over 20 years and previously served in the U.S. Air Force and as a city police officer. He is very close with Tom Bowman, who most people think runs ICE, but Tom is our border czar. Lyons was highly respected at the Department of Homeland Security and has the respect of all of ICE, including the rank and file, which makes his departure that much more strange. No specific reason has been given for his resignation, which means someone probably forced him out, i.e. blackmail, or he finally got enough of the threats coming from the left on an hourly basis. God bless. Thank you for your service, sir. Please share and subscribe, give us a thumbs up, and remember, anything's possible in Bizarro World.
