James Kaufman, World News Report Today.
Anna Paulina warns of major purge coming to Capitol Hill.
We do have a video.
Florida Representative Anna Paulina Luna has warned
of a major purge coming to Capitol Hill
of lawmakers with skeletons in their closets.
Following the spectacular fall
of California Representative Eric Swalwell,
following a host of sexual assault and rape allegations,
there is growing speculation that other individuals may be next.
Texas Rep. Tony Gonzalez also resigned his seat last week amid ongoing
criticism about his affair with an aide who later committed suicide.
You may know by now, but the tax dollars, the slush fund that Congress
has been spending to settle allegations of misconduct with accusers
is going to be made public next week
and it's said to be over 20 million dollars in hush money
payoffs of yes your tax dollar money i think everyone
on that list should have to pay that
money back let's listen to what miss luna has
to say now it sounds like she's talking about
two more House members and a sitting senator.
And there could be more.
Do other House members have skeletons in their closets?
Yes.
How many?
I'd say right now there's probably about two,
well, two House members, likely one senator.
But I think that this right now is freaking
a lot of people out. And also, too, I think this
is kind of something that we've been pushing forward,
but we wanted to release the Congressional
slush fund.
Is this the beginning of a major purge on Capitol Hill?
I think so.
How many members are we talking about?
Well, as of right now, there's probably
three between the House and the Senate.
Three.
But there could be more.
There could be more.
Yeah.
There's always rumors, but rumors aren't always true.
It's what's inevitable.
I guess that evidence will be coming down
the pipeline next week in the form of all
the information about all the payoffs.
Again, I believe anyone that used any of that money
to pay off accusers should pay it back.
to the taxpayer, period.
Let me know how you feel in the comments below.
God bless.
