Shocking Video Shows Middle Schoolers Saving Their Bus Driver & Themselves!

Shocking video shows middle schoolers saving their bus driver and their bus, in other words, themselves. New video from inside a school bus in Hancock County, Mississippi shows the moment five Hancock middle school students stepped up after their driver passed out at the wheel. We'll show the entire video released by the school district in one moment. The video shows driver Leah Taylor passing out while operating the bus. Students quickly realized something was wrong, and five of them worked together to bring everyone to safety. One student grabbed the steering wheel, while another hit the air brake. A third student called 911, and another student notified the school district via the comm on the bus. A fifth student gave Taylor her asthma medicine that she was holding in her hand. Taylor suffered a severe asthma attack and could not get to her medication. Taylor said she is feeling much better and is thankful to the students for saving her life. She was actually driving the very next day, which I could not like at all, but everything ended up okay this time. I'm afraid anyone with a serious illness that can hit you that quickly should probably not be driving a four-ton school bus full of our children. Dr. Melissa Saucier, Hancock Middle School principal, said the students handled the emergency correctly. Quote, I'm not surprised to hear that our kids remained calm and acted swiftly. This emergency situation could have definitely been detrimental, and they handled it exactly how they should have. and we're extremely proud of each and every one of them, Saucier said. The students, Mackenzie Finch, Jackson Casnave, Darius Clark, Kaylee Clark, and Destiny Cornelius, were recognized for their actions at a pep rally at the school. Check this out, folks.
