Weekend camp Pinery Park

It's 7 o'clock a.m., and we slept here last night at the Pinery. We're doing the first trail. It's a 1.8-kilometer trail called the Carolinian Trail. It's a provincial park with lots of old pine. It was an old, it's called the Pinery. It was an old pine plantation. There's cedar woods as well. A little happy we're out in the bush, I think. Coming out of this place. Nipissing Lake Trail now, and we're about to enter White Pine Grove. It's pretty nice. funny when you come into these things the whole forest changes the ground cover is way different than the uh ground cover just out there not a lot of undergrowth like little shrubs and stuff but not any young trees popping up really you dominate it by the uh white pine we're up on a lookout tower pretty high up i don't know how high up but pretty high how high are we well lots of stairs We just went to an outdoor flea market, and they had a tactical place, a tactical guy had a booth set up there, and I got this pouch. He called it the multi-purpose medium-sized pouch. It's by a brand called Full Clip, and it's made in the U.S. It shows up on there, but made in the U.S. and it's uh woody green so it matches my backpack you got to have that can't be a mismatching color and i think i'm going to put my first aid kit in there but it's a nice size pouch and it'll attach to the molly system or the molly straps our campsite rigged up uh the bushcraft usa 10x10 keep the rain off us last night and it worked good and looks like a nice sunny day today so I think it'll hold off taut line hitches to attach it to everything huge sand dune Yeah, that's cuz you're a girl Come dog beach beach still and I thought this looked like an old mine shaft or something Somebody must have just been messing around. It's nothing really stops right there. What are you doing Scout? What you're making those of you that don't know rufflies are shavings This plate bundle is too big. He was on my rest place. Good night. This is the last night here at the pinery. My wife's gone to bed with the dog. And I'm just burning up the last of the $7.50 bag of wood. That's right, $7.50 for a bag of wood. Thought I might as well burn it. Burning money. I've held up well with the torrential downpour we had. This is the third morning, our third day. We're going to do two or three trails before we hit the road. We're on a trail called the Pines. I'm on Big Sand Dune again. Apparently this area was ravaged by fire and a bunch of red pines grew out. We saved this one for last. This is called the Wilderness Trail and it's a three kilometer trail. I think it's the longest one they have here other than the bike trails. Hoping to see some kind of wilderness.
