James Kaufman will news report today.
Iran says it's closed the Straits of Hormuz after accusing
the U.S. and Israel of violations.
Meanwhile, Vice President J.D. Vance is on the air right now telling
U.S. citizens that the Straits are open and safe.
The following statement was just released by Iran.
Who do you believe?
Here is the exact statement as reported by Iranian state media
and translated by ABC.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is warning commercial vessels
not to approach the Strait of Hormuz after Iran announced it
was closing the shipping lane again due to violations
of the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. and Iran.
Quote, it emphasized that the Straits of Hormuz are closed
and vessels should not approach the Straits of Hormuz.
Otherwise, their security will be at great risk.
The IRGC said in a statement to its affiliate station,
State News, Fars News.
And this is actually June 20th, as you can see.
This is an ABC article that came out a few moments ago.
Now we'll listen to J.D. Vance try to convince you guys
that the straits are completely open and safe for commercial traffic.
They always hang J.D. Vance out to dry after Trump makes
this completely, well, shitty deal, period.
Let's listen.
As soon as tomorrow, but these things are always a little bit in flux.
Jared and Steve have been on the ground now for a few hours dealing
with some of the technical elements of this negotiation.
As you guys know, one of the things the president has set us out
to do as a high priority is to open the Straits.
That's now happened.
We actually got 16 million barrels of oil out
of the Straits of Hormuz yesterday.
That is a record going back to even before the conflict started.
So you're seeing those ships move.
The second thing the president has asked us to do,
of course, is to get the enriched stockpile of uranium
to ensure that we make it effectively impossible
for the Iranians to rebuild their nuclear program,
even over a very long period of time.
The program is destroyed, but we're, of course,
trying to take away as many of the cards where they may try
to rebuild it if they don't behave under this agreement.
So that's the first part of the negotiation.
My understanding, talking to Jared
and Steve this morning, is things are going well.
But, of course, we're going to verify all of this.
And that's the thing that, you know,
a lot of the criticisms of the deal have really underappreciated
is that the United States has all the cards.
The straits are now open.
The Iranian military is now destroyed.
The Iranians have committed to, of course,
destroying that stockpile of enriched material.
That's not at all what the Iranians said.
They weren't committed to destroying it.
They said that it was, well, impossible to get to it because of all
the granite that had fallen from the U.S. bombings on the facility.
That's what they actually said.
And yes, the U.S. has boring machines
that could get to it theoretically.
but that's not going to be allowed let me tell you there's
a great chance that it was moved prior
or they've already recovered it
but i know one thing we'll never see it i know another thing
if iran says the straits are closed
and that well you could come under fire if you're going to sail
through it's going to stop all the ships
from sailing through with just that threat so yesterday
might have been a great day,
but I'm guessing all the world's major superpowers didn't reinstate
their oil reserves in one day. One day.
That's how long this lasted. And this is going to be
monkey games with these people every single day,
especially with Bibi bombing Hezbollah
and South Lebanon on a daily basis.
Ladies and gentlemen, this just is not going to work out.
Trump wants to wait 60 days?
Well, it must be because we're trying to reinstate our reserves
and probably our ammunition.
God bless. Let me know what you think.
Why are we even wasting time and money?
All Iran understands is the sword.
I can't understand why these people don't get that.
God bless.
Please make sure to give us a thumbs up and share.

and greatest as it occurs.
