There are free shuttles to the events
from the Sayville train station. So a lot of events
happening. Yeah. And finally, some great weekend weather,
you know, decent last weekend. But I
mean, this is going to be a beautiful fall weekend.
It's going to be colder in the mornings,
though. Some patchy frost both Saturday and Sunday morning.
You'll want the winter coat,
too. But just remember to protect the plants
as we head into the weekend and deal with some of
the colder temperatures, especially over eastern
Suffolk County. So we'll get into that. Feels
like temperatures this evening dropping through the 40s eventually
and so you'll want the heavier
coat even this evening if you're out
and about still beautiful otherwise with a mostly clear
to partly cloudy sky but temperatures early
on Saturday if you're getting an early start before
six or seven in the morning it's going to feel like the 30s briefly
and then during the afternoon
it'll feel like the upper 50s
to low 60s really just gorgeous outside before we do it all over
again Saturday night it'll get colder
into Sunday morning feeling like the 30s to low 40s at best
again and then Sunday afternoon will
be even better feeling than tomorrow with
highs getting up into the mid sixties.
But there is that frost advisory for
eastern Suffolk County from 11
o'clock tonight until nine o'clock tomorrow
morning. Temperatures actually in this area,
especially in and around the pine
barrens in West Hampton Beach can dip
into the twenties to low thirties early
tomorrow. So cold start there.
Future cast shows some varying amounts of
clouds overnight. It's kind of a partly
cloudy overnight and we'll have a mix
of sun and clouds to start the day
on Saturday and then we'll tend to see
more of those clouds exit as we head
into the later afternoon and evening
hours tomorrow. But tomorrow is more
of a mix of sun and clouds versus just
the almost complete sunshine we've had
the past couple of days. So patchy
frost into early in the morning, otherwise partly cloudy lows in the
upper thirties to low forties.
Can't rule out a little touch of some minor
coastal flooding for the back bays
of southern Nassau County. 5 to 9 tomorrow
morning worth a mention, but not a big issue there.
Saturday's highs upper
fifties to low sixties after that cold morning,
just a beautiful afternoon,
even better on Sunday
and the stretch of dry weather continues through all of
next week. Right now, Halloween looks great too,
with sunshine and highs in
the mid sixties.
