AI GeneratedCorey McCloskey provides a weather update for Arizona, forecasting a generally pleasant weekend. While there is a slight chance of scattered showers on Saturday, particularly in the mountains and along the I-40 corridor, Sunday is expected to be sunny. Temperatures in the Valley will remain mild, with a gradual warm-up expected heading into next week.
You're watching the Fox 10 Weather Experts
with Corey McCloskey on Fox 10 News.
Hey, good evening, weather friends.
What?
Oh, yes, this suit is from the Ty Brennan collection.
Thank you.
Thank you very much.
Hey, shadows are falling across Phoenix,
and it is looking great out there.
It's going to be a pretty good weekend.
We're going to give you a slim chance
for a shower tomorrow, but that's tomorrow.
Look at Flagstaff.
What a beautiful day,
and all of Arizona has finished the week on a pretty quiet note,
and wow, what a couple of days we've been through.
Now, if you're headed into the mountains for the weekend in Flagstaff,
your day tomorrow will show you, again, a chance for showers,
and not just Flagstaff, but here in the valley, too.
We'll call it about a 10% or 20% possibility for rain.
Don't cancel anything for the next couple of days,
whether you're in the rim country or in the White Mountains.
Everyone's got a shot at some mid-afternoon to late-afternoon showers.
And some of them could be a bit stronger
as you get up into Navajo and Apache counties.
But all in all, certainly compared to the last few days,
things are going to be relatively nice.
So your Sunday, by the way, will shape up beautifully.
Look at these temperatures as we make
our way through our Saturday here in the Valley.
We'll top out in the upper 70s,
which is a great way to spend a Saturday, that's for sure.
And here's how the rain and clouds will shape up if we get them.
Again, this is the way things look now.
It's about as clear as can be out there as we put it into motion.
Here comes your Saturday about noon, and this is noon tomorrow.
And we're talking about clouds starting to build in,
scattered showers, but kind of widely scattered.
We're not expecting the widespread coverage
that we've seen this week already.
But as we see all of this lift its way off to the north
and east through the afternoon,
we may see some periods of very heavy rainfall for Flagstaff
and all along that I-40 corridor.
And then northward, just again, don't cancel anything,
but have a plan A minus or maybe a plan B
as you make your way through the afternoon and evening hours.
However, by Sunday, we're going to be back into the bright sunshine.
Here's the way things look at the moment.
And again, it's clear skies all over.
All the heavy weather has now been pushed off into New Mexico.
But here in the valley and beyond, it's been a pretty good day.
Winds have been gusty in the mountains.
A 30-mile-an-hour gust recorded over at Show Low,
but that's been the top end.
So as far as weather goes, we don't have any.
We do, though, have still
a flash flood warning out until midnight tomorrow.
This would early Sunday morning,
we should say, for the Little Colorado River.
All of the washes and the little streams that flow
into the Little Colorado are really pushing it out over its banks.
So watch out for those low-water crossings.
You don't want to drive into them.
You just never know what's underneath.
So here's the way things look for the moment.
79 in Goodyear.
70s for almost everybody out there.
It's been a great afternoon.
And your typical high is 87.
So when you hit 80, rather 77,
that's a pretty nice way to roll through tomorrow.
It's going to be a good one.
So here are your lows for tonight.
42 at Window Rock, 62 in Yuma.
Kayenta, you'll see about 44 degrees.
And then here we go for your Saturday.
The numbers are looking pretty swell for everybody.
And then off we roll into that 10-day stretch with daytime highs.
Again, looking fantastic.
We'll see a bit of a warm-up as we get to Monday, Tuesday, and beyond.
As we get into next weekend, you're going to really love it.
Boy, those numbers will be way, way down.
Chance for showers next week, but that's next week.
What do we care?
I see you're wearing a Ty Brennan suit also.
Yes.
I think it's the collection.
I think Robbie has one on, too.
Yeah, that's good.
I feel left out.
Yeah, no, it's okay.
Ty, he's working on a women's line.
Oh, okay.
Yeah.
All right.
um she has sketches they're amazing it's true yeah as a christian deal
