In this video, I want to introduce to you
a funding tool that many small businesses may
find incredibly useful.
You see, right now, we live in a time of economic volatility. Sure,
the stock market may be at all-time highs,
but have you seen the price of diesel? That may not
affect the latest Silicon Valley startup
with angel investor money, an AI model that works
entirely on the cloud, and remote employees living
in the Bahamas working from laptops by the pool.
But it affects regular people with regular businesses
that are the backbone of the economy.
think mom and pop shops, laundromats, construction companies
and diners, but this is where Revenued
the product we are going to talk about
in this video can help. It is a flexible funding solution
designed especially for established small businesses
and it could get you as much as
2 million dollars in funding in as little
as 24 hours. Hey credit warriors, welcome to the show. My
name is Ben Hedges aka the Credit Shifu
and on this channel I cover US credit cards, personal
finance and luxury travel.
Today, we are going to be doing a review of Revenued and their FlexLine
funding solution for small businesses.
And Revenued did reach out to me to review their product,
but I'll do my best just to give you the facts
and you can make up your own mind what you think.
So imagine this, you are a small business owner.
Maybe you run several YouTube channels like me,
or you run some Airbnb cabins. Actually, I do that too.
Okay, perhaps you run a restaurant.
All right, I don't do that. But you have your peak
and off-peak season. For example, in the summer,
Everyone goes on vacation and they're not really watching YouTube
or an early spring after the snow melts
But the leaves aren't coming out on the trees yet
People don't really want to come to the Catskills Mountains
and stay at my cabin and at these times having a funding source to help
You get through that bad month or two can be really valuable
and that's where Revenued comes in
Their flex line does what it says on the tin
It is a flexible funding line that you can qualify
for based on your business revenue, not your credit score
So you get Revenued. Get it?
You are not forced to commit to a loan of a fixed amount and draw
it all at once. You just draw on the FlexLine
when you need it with no origination, maintenance,
or draw fees. So you can use it
for things like covering operating expenses in tough periods,
purchasing new inventory, or funding business growth,
such as purchasing new computers or
machinery or new hires. Then in addition to the FlexLine,
you have the Revenued business card,
which you can use for day-to-day business expenses.
So you can get the two products
together for an all-round funding system.
Now, going back to the flex line, how much can you
borrow? Well, the line size goes up to $2 million.
We'll talk about how they determine the line size
in a moment and how much interest you get charged
on your spending from the flex line. Well,
Revenue uses factor rates, not interest rates,
and these factor rates range from 1.1 to 1.5.
If you don't know what that means, here's an explanation.
An interest rate, what's normally
quoted as APY of, say, 25%, which is common on a credit card,
is levied on the remaining balance.
So if you keep the balance at, say, $10,000 for a year, you pay $2,500.
If you keep that balance
for three years, you pay $7,500 in interest.
Actually, even more because you end up paying
interest on the interest.
This is called compound interest, and it can really make your debt
balloon. But let's say you spend $10,000 from the revenue flex line
and your factor rate is 1.25.
You pay 25% on the money you borrowed,
which on paper sounds the same, but there is a difference.
You only pay it once. It's not levied on the balance every year
and it doesn't compound.
You don't pay interest on the interest.
You borrow 10,000, you pay back 12,500. Revenued's terms on the
flex line run from six to 12 months.
So you can't end up in long-term debt anyway. And you could be
getting a factor rate as low as 1.1,
depending on your business, which is equivalent to paying 10%
to borrow that money for up to a year.
In other words, paying $1,000 to borrow 10,000.
So how do you get approved?
Well, Revenued is aimed at US-based businesses that have been in
operation for at least 12 months
and generate over $20,000 in monthly revenue with $30,000
in monthly deposits. You have to be a company,
and any type of company is okay. So LLC, S Corp,
C Corp, etc., you just can't apply as a sole proprietor.
You must maintain a separate business
bank account and be comfortable linking
your business bank account to Revenued through Plaid.
Thus, Revenued can make a funding decision based
on the actual business revenue, not the personal
credit score of the owner. You're getting Revenued, remember?
And you can get a funding decision in as
little as one hour and access to funds in as little as 24 hours.
So who is this product for?
Well, Revenued is for any US-based small business,
but it aims its product specifically at companies
that encounter trouble getting funding through
traditional sources. Companies like Red Seal
Gaming in New Jersey, who sell miniatures,
board games, and playing cards like Magic
the Gathering. Sounds like a pretty straightforward business,
but they had trouble getting business
funding from traditional banks due
to multi-year operating requirements. However, when they
applied with Revenued, based primarily
on their cash flow through their business bank
account, they were approved for Revenue's flex line.
So that's Revenued, a business funding
solution for US businesses
who may have had trouble getting business funding through traditional
channels. If you're interested in Revenued for your business,
