Rays vs. Brewers: An Old-School World Series Showdown

All right, game one of the World Series will be played on Friday. Tampa Bay versus Milwaukee, I know, really doesn't have that punch. But I'll tell you what, this is old school baseball. These are two organizations built the right way. How about the managers, too? Could you arguably say that these two managers are the best managers in all of Major League Baseball? Next to Dave Johnson there, too. Make no mistake about it. Dave Roberts is probably in that conversation as well. But guys, this is going to be a hell of a World Series. I can't wait. This will be old school. You know, at the beginning of the season, we were covering the Tampa Bay Rays on a radio station down in Tampa, and we thought this baseball team, at best, was going to win 60 ballgames. Instead, this baseball team has gone on now and become American League champions and now have an opportunity for this team to go on and win their very first World Series and what I love about this series is that you've got two baseball teams that are going to be fighting for their first World Championship Milwaukee's never won one this is the first series that they've been in since 1982 when they were over in the American League and they played against the St Louis Cardinals and they ended up getting beat in seven games make no mistake I can't wait to see there's going to be so many young stars you got Christian Yelich on that team with Milwaukee and you got Junior Caminero who's one of the youngest stars in all of Major League Baseball make no mistake this is going to be I think a seven game series and I'll say it I got the Rays in seven and I think that train no question Milwaukee right now is the hottest team heading into this World Series make no mistake about it but I got the Rays here man they got great news this year when it came to their stadium they had an absolutely sensational run winning the American League East and then winning the American League and now in the World Series for their third time. And I think this is going to be the time that they end up winning that World Series. And wow, what a moment that will be for that baseball team that struggles with attendance. This is not a baseball organization that's rich like the Yankees. But you win that World Series, it'll change that dynamic. I can't wait to watch the World Series games one and two, Friday and Saturday.
