President Trump has decided that no one will be using the Persian Gulf or going through the Straits of Hormuz for any reason anytime soon, and that the U.S. will keep its naval blockade intact and wait for Iran to implode. President Trump posted the following on Truth Social just moments ago. The USA has total control of the Straits of Hormuz. I think we will keep it. Our naval blockade is being called by everyone a wall of steel. There's nothing Iran can do about it. They have no navy. They have no air force. The remaining soldiers are unpaid. The Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps is decimated and fleeing, and their leadership is uncertain at best. They have no money, the country is shot, and all they have is fake news and 300% inflation, and it's getting worse. Iran is all about talk and no action. The bully of the Middle East no longer. Praise be to Allah, President Donald J. Trump. So what does this all mean? Well, to review, Trump claims total control over the Hormuz Straits signals strategy of continued economic pressure. No one knows what further attacks have not occurred. Assumptions have been made that the U.S. and its allies are light on defensive ammunition, which would be needed and quickly depleted if the conflict continued to be hot. Iran declares victory and says it can sustain the conflict and outlast the U.S. blockade. Iran has shifted to a quote-unquote survival economy to withstand sanctions, Washington's economic warfare, and the naval blockade. Peace talks are basically not happening and Pakistan reporting absolutely no progress whatsoever. This means oil prices will be on the rise around the world, affecting gasoline prices, thus affecting transportation and raising the prices of all goods. According to Tehran, the Hormuz remains closed until Washington accepts all of its conditions. So basically what we have here is a Mexican standoff. By definition, a Mexican standoff is a tense confrontation between two or more parties where no side can attack or win without triggering their own defeat or severe losses. Because every participant is simultaneously threatening and being threatened by another, any action could break the delicate stalemate and lead to mutual destruction. So there you have it, folks.
