Yeah, you're going for a run tomorrow.
You might want to kind of layer up.
It's going to be a bit of a chilly start.
You have that biting wind too. We're going to have some gusts
on Wednesday around 20 to 35 miles per hour.
So it's going to be a noticeably windy day.
This is still related to that nor'easter.
That's a few hundred miles away from Long Island,
but the low pressure associated with that nor'easter
and the nicer weather associated with high pressure to the north.
You get the pressure gradient in between. It kind of helps to increase
that wind and funnel that wind from the northeast in this case over the
over Long Island. And this is going to be a gusty day on Wednesday.
First thing in the morning, five, six in the morning,
some gusts between 20 and 30 miles per hour.
And we're going to have pretty consistent gusts in the 20
to 30 mile per hour range all day on Wednesday.
Parts of the east end have the best chance of getting some gusts
that are slightly higher. But the center of this storm is still
so far away and far enough to really keep the rain away from us.
We'll get some extra clouds thrown in our direction.
Certainly a bit of that wind,
not awfully concerned about coastal flooding, but there's
a slight chance for some minor coastal flooding Wednesday afternoon.
and evening. It's a minor beach erosion,
which we don't need any beach erosion following that
nor'easter that we had about a month ago.
So gale warning, rough water conditions will certainly
continue through Wednesday
and even into part of Thursday as well. Future cast overnight,
kind of mostly clear to partly cloudy,
but as we get into the day on Wednesday,
we'll start to notice more clouds filtering in.
There are still plenty of breaks of sun,
but we certainly have at times more clouds than sunshine.
Temperatures will be right around 60 or
so. If there's a rain sprinkle over the east end,
it would be Wednesday night, really during the
overnight, but I do expect dry weather
all across Long Island into thursday
at this point. So a few clouds during
the overnight breezy, chilly for sure.
It's a windy day on Wednesday, but overall a decent day, partly sunny
temperatures right around 60 degrees.
Just have a jacket with you for sure.
So thursday, the wind starts to subside
a little bit as we go into the weekend.
It's cool friday saturday.
Look at this stretch of sunshine though. Right
now it's dry through the end of next week,
highs in the fifties and sixties.
