And we have a celebrity guest who will be in town this weekend, just like yesterday. We started out with a big celebrity, Joy Reid from MSNBC, MSNBC. And now we have the legendary, he's an actor, a comedian, the man himself. We have joining us here on The Factor Uncensored, Bill Bellamy. And there he is. Bill, how are you? Can you hear me? Let me just double check this, Bill. I want to make sure. I hear you very well. Can you hear me? Yes. How about now? I hear you. Can you hear me? I can hear you sir, perfect. Go ahead. and let me just double check this audio to make sure everything is okay and Bill, you're headed to the city of Houston this weekend, what can we expect from this show that you have planned? Well, the show that we're doing tomorrow uh is at the Bayou City Event Center uh it is going to be an amazing night of celebration of can you hear me? Yes, i can hear you, yeah and we're we're really getting the word out about voting, we're really trying to get everybody engaged and get the young people, you know we're going to definitely get some old school people but we are putting together a show of comedy and entertainment, absolutely and once again it's at the Bayou City Event Center and you were just here last weekend, right? I was just, I literally was in town just for a day or so um at a basketball game and i and i was you know i was in the city i was going to different places because Houston is one of my favorite cities, i love the food, i love the diversity, i love the energy of the city and so um i just i just wanted to do something that was really personal and purposeful uh for voting you know that you know it's a real time you know for us to be out to be to let our voices be heard we have Scarface performing tomorrow we have myself we have some local comics and we have some special surprise guests coming through so everybody get your tickets make sure you come out and support it's going to be a really fun night and also an engagement night of course and and Scarface is a godfather Houston Texas we all know what can we say the legendary exactly and Bill you mentioned voting what we had here in Harris County in the Houston area yesterday was a record turnout when it comes to early voting more than 100,000 people that's 40,000 more than in 2018 and so So from your perspective, obviously, you know, you keep your hands on the pulse of what's going on in America. When you see so many people so anxious to vote and to get out, what are your thoughts? What do you feel like is happening when it comes to the political atmosphere in America? I think what's really happening is social media and the engagement and the passion of people wanting the country to do better overall. where we are right now, you can tell a lot of people are not happy. You see it, you feel the pulse of it in all parts of the culture. And I feel like people are passionate again. That's what I love, people are really engaged. People wanna be a part of the movement. It's more than just voting, it's a movement to make things better for people to feel their voices and to be heard, to make changes. Especially For black and brown people in this country, it looks like they're trying to, you know, sort of erase us or, you know, put us back 10, 15 years. And we're not we're not going for it this time. This time we're we're being proactive. And you can see by the early turnout, people are turned up, which I'm excited about. Absolutely. And, of course, as I said, a record turnout here in the city of Houston. And we're looking for a record turnout for you guys, you and Scarface. What can people expect from this show, Bill? It's going to be so much fun. It's going to be music. It's going to be very Houston. Just know that. You're going to see diversity. You're going to see fun. There's a lot of pride in the city, which I feel it just oozes from everyone. There's so much Houston pride. And I'm a part of the city. I even have a Bill Bellamy day. I got my own day this week. You can't beat that. You can't beat it, baby. There you go. Go ahead, Bill. you know like i'm a real ambassador for houston i love it i've always had great shows there had i have an extremely huge fan base in the city as you said you heard me being in the city the buzz is going around what bill doing here what's going on what's going on you know what i mean exactly exactly and of course uh i was just reading an an article i think it came out three days and i don't know if you can confirm this uh imdb it was posted there that you are working on a pilot for fox where you play a former pro football player is that accurate or did they get the report wrong and i got egg on my face and look like a damn fool no no you're fine you're fine the pilot yeah it was it was actually a pilot that i shot um a year and a half ago um and we we shot it and it was literally about a you know an ex-football player who you know is finally settling down and trying to, you know, deal with the life of being retired and fatherhood. Unfortunately, it didn't get picked up. But you know what? I did what I had to do. There you go. You did your part. And of course, these damn people reported it like it was brand new three days ago. So, Bill, like you said, don't trust the media except me. The person that's in it. Yeah. Exactly. If I see you tomorrow, man, let everybody in the city know to pull up 8 o'clock. Come a little early so you can get the best seats in the house. We'll be at the Bayview City Event Center. Absolutely. And is there anywhere they can go to check on tickets or buy tickets? Or is it walk-up? Because you know how we are sometimes. Walk-up last minute. I give them walk-up last minute. You know how we do. All right, Bill Bellamy, thank you for joining us here. On the Factor Uncensored, and he is appearing at the Bayou City Event Center tomorrow with our very own Scarface for a great show, all BS aside. Bill Bellamy, thank you for joining us. Thank you, buddy. Bye-bye. Absolutely. All righty. And, of course, that's Bill Bellamy. We want to thank him for joining us here on the Factor Uncensored Prime Time Live.
