I was just out on a farm yesterday I'm going out to another one today we lead the nation in farm foreclosures now here in Iowa. We got farm suicide rates that are skyrocketing I hear over and over farmers set using the word betrayal And it is, you know, you've got these terrorists this war in Iran and giving twenty billion dollars to Argentina so the Chinese can buy their soybeans not ours the terrorists have hurt Iowa more than any other state I think that farmers need free markets and and, and, and trade more than basically any other group And what this has led to is not only an increase in cost on groceries to small businesses but it has absolutely led to a loss of markets to our farmers commodities prices being upside down It has decimated farmers. And it has it's, it's led to, what I've been calling a farm again a second farm crisis. Farmers are looking at their margins for next planting season And with the price of inputs and fertilizer being what it is because of this war in Iran they're saying this isn't going to work we're going to end up in foreclosure And so need to end this war in Iran immediately we need to repeal these chaotic tariffs and provide some relief not only to farmers and rural communities but to average everyday Americans because the story I'm hearing the most as I'm out there is two you know, working families, both parents working that are saying I'm struggling just to keep food on the table a roof above my head pay my electric bill And with this war I'm struggling just to keep gas in the tank And we need people to go up to DC to actually work for the people not just like what Ashley Hinson has done give tax breaks to billionaires and large corporations while enriching herself and making herself 15 times more wealthy
