Jedd Fisch in Purdue Postgame

Interesting game. Interesting game. You know, you don't usually, you're not usually minus four in the turnover battle and not win the game and win the game. And we're by two scores nonetheless. but I thought that our guys played so hard today and I just want to give so much credit to our coaching staff to our players to really the way our kids all three phases just they wanted it so bad they just wanted it so bad and you just felt it you felt it all week you felt it how we practice you felt it when they're in the locker room there was no flinch even when we got to the point where you know we turned the ball over on the first play of the game and defense goes out there and even then you know holds them and gets us to a spot where we can take the lead and I thought that was great I thought Elijah did a great job of leading the team and not flinching even though he turned it over early a couple times but I thought he was extremely an extremely good leader today defensively to hold that runner to whatever 24 yards or whatever we did after the way he ran last week was a tremendous job um our kicker Hunter Green, punter kickoff guy he's just been phenomenal but overall i just uh give all the credit to the kids in the locker room and um you know they are that they are kids in the locker room that are learning uh every day on how to how to do this thing the way we want to do it and to be able to be resilient even when things aren't going your way at different times and um the way they kept battling was was fun it was a fun game your coach.
