Dabo Swinney's Future & Oregon's Disappointing Year

Is the most likely coach is Dabo, right?
Like, that's the guy who's not coming back.
Like, almost no circumstance next season.
Correct?
Am I wrong about that?
Like, just from what I read.
And then the other question that I have is the most disappointing team,
they're not going to fire him,
but is the most disappointing team Oregon with Dan Lanning?
Like, is that fair, too?
Are those two statements both fair?
Well, at least Clemson, I think,
started the year for the first time
since Dabo first took the job at Clemson
where they weren't ranked preseason in the top 25.
It's the first one.
So Clemson wasn't even thought of before the season.
You know, they've already been a program on the decline, right?
Oregon was number one or number two in the AP Top ten coaches.
Like, they were expected to be there, and here we are.
No, they are not there.
And you can't blame the quarterback, Dante Moore,
because they were terrible to begin with there.
And you saw that early on.
They barely beat Boise State in the first week.
Oklahoma State beat them the following week,
and then it's just been downhill from there.
So, yeah, but Lanning at least, I think,
can give him a little extra time.
Yeah, yeah.
But Dabo is fascinating, man.
How entrenched is he with the boosters and the people you know there?
I mean, he's the guy that is all about loyalty.
I don't know that that's going to work anymore in college,
especially a 24-team playoff coming.
He can go Notre Dame's route and schedule like Buffalo
or Mercer or Stetson and play those games.
I mean, what's the point of trying
to schedule anything tough anymore if all you've got
to do is not lose more than three games and you're good to go?
