And we heard more news today in the NFL about who's in and who is out.
And I'm kind of shocked it made it this low, Craig.
But we tried telling people yesterday.
We've seen this line, and it was going to be your favorite bet, I know.
Started at 5.5, then it was 5, and it was 4.5, and it was 4 yesterday.
And now it's down to 3, as Lamar Jackson has been officially ruled out.
of this game for uh sunday one o'clock in cleveland they have some five
and a half all
the way down to three i don't know that it'll get to two
and a half but the home dog a lot of people
back in the browns here
and after huntley just beat atlanta i mean is is that a fair line move
here very good and and so i'm gonna stick
with that play for me for the week but i i think it's
fair to say that yesterday i i was pretty emphatic about the four
so i'm i'm going to take my four
points uh on uh on cleveland if it lands on three i'll be miserable
so look i i it's just you know
for me it's just a strategy that i've had it's worked very well uh
on these best bets all season
long i don't even eventually i'm gonna have
to lose one maybe this is it but uh it's just a buy
low opportunity that's all i see here
is that is that cleveland looked awful last week uh of course
my best play with the jets uh they came through
but i think for i think i think for me that's
just all it is is looking
at this and saying i i can't make tyler huntley even a favorite in
cleveland honestly like it just seems weird to me
that he is and he was so good last week i mean i'm
not going to take anything away from him
but I think Cleveland is uh in Monken and I think they're
like in a room somewhere
and saying like listen if we just stop Derrick Henry shouldn't we win
this game like nine to seven like shouldn't we
be able to just do the same thing that we did
to the Jets I know the Jets are obviously not not Baltimore
but you don't even have to win this one
Cleveland can still lose and you can get the four
so I'm gonna stick with the Browns here I don't
know if they win the game
but I in my opinion I just I know Cleveland is going to beat Baltimore
at some point this year either this week
and if they lose and I lose this one I'm going to go
right back to them when they're getting their 10 points
in Baltimore in November and I'll play it
Ben, I am not a Huntley guy.
I don't think Huntley is one of those five,
six best backups in the NFL.
I think he's a guy we know because he's been around a long time,
but I don't think he's one of the better backups in the league.
Honestly, I don't know how Baltimore did
what they did last week to win the game.
I don't think it happens again.
I don't think it happens again.
I will also throw this out, Craig,
And, you know, maybe what is missed on some people, too,
is that who knows Huntley better than his former O.C.?
That's true.
That's true.
Yeah, Monken, I didn't think about that.
You're right.
You know what I'm saying?
So, like, who knows it better than he knows what
his limitations are better than anybody?
So, no Zay Flowers on the designation list.
So, at least Zay Flowers is healthy.
That is somewhat good news.
But they traded for this center Jurgens, right, with Philadelphia.
He missed last week's game.
He's still in the concussion protocol.
He is not going in this game either, which is interesting.
So they still are short on the offensive line.
And Jenkins, Graham, Schweininger, all the starters,
a couple of guys on the defensive side,
and Judkins, the running back for Cleveland, all practiced today.
So that could be the good news.
How about Samson? Can you tell me if Dylan
Samson practiced today for Cleveland, Joe,
if you're looking at it right now?
Can you tell me about that?
Yes. Limited practice, but he practiced.
Yeah, that is a big name to circle this week for the Cleveland Browns.
Dylan Samson. They thought a lot of him when they drafted him.
They played him a lot the first week of the season.
He got hurt. He went on IR, designated to return, and he came back.
He's not going to be Derrick Henry.
He's not going to get 20 carries ever in a game.
But this guy out of the backfield,
Joe, in their camps and the preseason,
they were just dumping the ball off to him, and this guy runs 50 yards.
So keep an eye out for that guy this week.
I just don't know if he's going to play
or not or how much he's going to play.
Judkins, as we're starting to watch Judkins,
we're sort of realizing, like,
he could be okay, but he's always, I think,
going to be in a tandem back situation.
I don't think he's ever going to be, like, a sole back situation.
uh so yeah but that's a really good point
on on monkey too you would think and by the way
Tyler Huntley, Snoop Huntley, not long time Ravens backup he played
in Miami he was awful a couple
years ago don't forget this
