Mother arrested for murder of 5-year-old daughter in Queens, NYPD says

The mother in Queens charged right now with the murder of the death of her five-year-old daughter. That's right. Jessica Formoso is here now with the details. Jessica, what are you learning this morning? Good morning, Dan and Rosanna. Just tragic. Police have arrested 32-year-old Frances Cabello in connection with the death of her daughter, Fabiana Cabello. According to authorities, officers responded to a 911 call at the home on 110th Street in South Richmond Hill just before 7 Wednesday night. the call was placed by the child's mother. Police sources tell Fox 5 that Francis told the operator she had killed her five-year-old. When police arrived, they found Fabiana unconscious and unresponsive, bleeding from her nose and mouth. She was rushed to the hospital where she was pronounced dead. The child's grandfather, Franklin Cabello, says Fabiana was a happy child. He tells us they live in the same home and that he was in the bedroom at the time of the alleged killing. He says his daughter was mentally unstable that three months ago she was hospitalized for about a month and had not been taking her medication. Surveillance video from a nearby home shows the police response. In that footage you can see a child being rushed into the back of an NYPD vehicle and you also see what appears to be someone being placed in cuffs in front of that house where it all happened. The child's uncle says the family is in disbelief. It's very shocking It's sad you know can you describe her for us she's a very beautiful girl you know she's joyful she keep my my mom and dad happy all day you know they're old and she she's very she gives you a nice hug you know she was very happy girl we are heartbroken everybody's heartbroken you know after we learned about it last night when it came we are still waiting on the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death rosanna dan oh heartbreaking
