All right, let's have a look at your forecast heading into the weekend.
A bit of a cooler afternoon ahead, a lot brighter for at least
the southern half of the province than Thursday was.
And then things really look up from there
because of a ridge in the jet stream that's building
that will push in some nice warm air as we get toward the weekend.
So we'll have the numbers for you in your long range
as we get through the afternoon hours.
We'll get a bit more clearing, so parts of central
and even into northern Manitoba
getting a bit sunnier through the afternoon.
Still hanging on to some cloud cover,
Thompson and east, and places like Shamattawa,
Churchill along the Hudson Bay Coast could be into a little bit
of mixed precipitation or some flurries through the afternoon.
Saturday, nice and sunny,
carbon copy into Sunday once again for much of the province as well,
although there is another quick clipper
that will push across northern Manitoba into Sunday,
and this will bring a bit of precipitation
to the northern half of the province.
So as we get through the afternoon, nice sunny sky,
11, 12 degrees for the western half of the province,
9s and 10s through the Red River Valley,
slightly cooler where we will see some clearing a bit later on
into northwestern Ontario sevens
and eights through the afternoon uh seven with a cloudy
sky in Thompson here's your weekend numbers 15
for Saturday 17 for Sunday and looking at
temperatures that run four or five degrees above
seasonal continuing right toward the middle of
next week
