Brewers rookie Cooper Pratt reacts to win

Yeah, they're not booing. They're yelling, Coop, once again, just like an 82. Coop ringing through on a World Series. Get that Fanta endorsement in there, man. You're doing great. You've come up mid-season. Now you're going to the World Series. Can your head digest what has happened over these last few months? No, actually. If you asked me at the beginning of the year if I was going to be here, obviously you want to say yes, but I didn't know I was going to be in the big leagues this year. I didn't know I was going to be playing for a World Series this year, and now we're going to the World Series, just beat the Padres, swept the Dodgers, and now we're going to the World Series. I know Murph was just talking about you in the press conference, he was talking about you and Luis Lara and the young guys, and he goes, he doesn't know any better, he said he doesn't care, he didn't mean it like he doesn't care, it means nothing is rattling you. How can that be true? I mean, is this not what everyone does every year? Like, is this not? No, I'm just kidding. No, I mean, I just can't even put it into words. Everyone keeps saying how special this is. Obviously, I know how special this is. But to be able to be here and do this in my first year, like, it's pretty awesome, man. And four more, and we're world champions. There are 72 counties in the state of Wisconsin, and every one, there are bars, little dive bars, showing Brewer Games all summer long. You're a household name in a lot of those places, towns you've never even heard of now. I don't know about household name. No, I'm telling you, for Brewer fans, they know who Cooper Pratt is. What does this mean to you? I know you're not from Wisconsin, but now there's a whole state invested in your success. How do you comprehend that? I mean, I wouldn't say household name. I've been up for, like, three months. But, no, the fans are awesome. Like, they really pack it. They show up, man. They're there for you. I don't even know what to say. like let me ask you the final question no team in history has ever come back to sweep the team that swept them, no one, that's just another thing you guys have done saying we're unique because of this, I think it was a little personal after last year, I mean obviously I wasn't here last year but I think the guys, they're a little ticked off after last year, they wanted this, they wanted it to come through uh LA and uh man, this this group of guys, it's it's something special. Was there one in particular who took you under the wing during this series and said Coop, do this or this or this or talk to you, man, they all did. There was there, wasn't one individual person, like everyone gave me advice, kind of welcomed me in, man, the clubhouse was awesome, just so many so many great guys so many great teammates and just ball players, man ball players, you're going to the World Series Going to the World Series We'll see you in Milwaukee.
