Kennesaw animal rescue van vandalized

An animal rescue in Metro Atlanta was targeted by a vandal. A van belonging to Mostly Mutts is now covered in graffiti. News 8 reporter Denise Dillon is live in Kennesaw on the story. Denise, this isn't the first time this has happened. That's right. Something very similar happened earlier this year. This time, it was worse. And now they want to know if it is the same person. We're here for the community. We want to help people. And when somebody does something like this, it really is, it hurts. Tammy Turley is the executive director of Mostly Mutt's Animal Rescue in Kennesaw. When she saw the rescue's purple van with images of cats and dogs covered in paint, she was sad and angry. I don't get it. I don't understand anybody trying to destroy anybody's property for any reason. But knowing that you're doing it to dogs and cats, it's just heartless. Surveillance video shows a man walking down the road and into the parking lot early Monday morning. He's now on our property walking to our van. He goes straight to the van parked out front and starts spray painting it. He's actually filling in something that was drawn on it in January. That's right. Back in January, someone spray painted graffiti on the van as well as a trailer that was in the same parking lot. That makes Turley wonder if it's the same person. the video does not show a clear picture of his face. Turley says his body and movement appear to be the same. Plus, just like last time, the person walked down the street from the west into the parking lot. We are pretty sure that he lives in the area. He didn't drive. He was walking up the street. While police try to track down the man in the hoodie with the can of paint, the rescue is deciding what to do with the van and it's going to cost us probably four to seven thousand dollars to get the van painted or whatever and that's money that we could be using to save a dog's life or a cat's life and Kennesaw police have been reviewing the surveillance video the people here at the rescue hope they find him soon before something else happens reporting live in Kennesaw Denise Dillon, Fox 5 News. All right Denise, thanks so much
