Bones have been recovered from a Philadelphia home at the center of an investigation involving several missing women, Action News has learned.
Sources tell Action News that the Medical Examiner's Office was called Thursday to recover bones from the property. Sources say the condition and origin of the remains are not yet known. The bones will be sent to a laboratory for forensic examination to determine whether they are human and, if so, whether they may be connected to the ongoing investigation.

...is developing news in that sprawling investigation
at the Olney home linked to several missing women.
Sources tell Action News tonight
that FBI agents unearthed bones on the property today
as they meticulously sift through dirt in the rear yard there.
Action News reporter Caroline Goggin live on Chew Avenue tonight.
Caroline, this is breaking now.
What are you learning more about this tonight?
Well, Brian, we have learned that the medical examiner's office
was on the scene here on Chew Avenue
earlier today, and law enforcement sources tell Action News
that bones were found
on the property. At this point,
we are waiting to hear whether they were human bones or animal
bones, but this is yet the latest development in this massive,
months-long investigation.
Chopper 6 was overhead this afternoon as crews
were once again seen digging in the backyard
of this home in Olney. Their search
of this property is connected to the late Raymond
R.C. Horsch and his son Eugene.
Seven missing or unidentified women have been tied to the
home, but no bodies have been found.
This summer, crews initially searched the home
on the 400 block of Chew Avenue after Eugene Horsch was arrested.
They found chemicals, a lab, five urns,
and more than a million pieces of digital evidence.
Late last month, Philadelphia police, along with the FBI,
returned to the home to conduct another extensive search.
This time, investigators have been using the chemical Luminol,
which can reveal traces of blood that are not visible to the naked eye.
Police sources did tell Action News earlier this week
that there was a positive chemical reaction at the home,
but they say that will require more testing as will
the bones that law enforcement sources tell
action news were found at this property earlier today
at this point we don't know the condition
or the nature of those bones
or if they are even relevant to this investigation they will be taken
to a lab where they will be processed
and tested by an expert we're live tonight in
Olney, I'm Caroline Goggin, Channel 6 Action
