All right. Mike Rizzo joining us right now.
We've got some wet weather coming through and it gets really cold.
Yeah, it gets cold for the weekend, Saturday and Sunday,
especially Sunday morning. Freeze and frost across parts of the state.
It's not a lot of parts of the state.
Yeah, I know. So I don't know about you. But hey,
we got rain tomorrow morning and it looks like both the morning commute
and the evening commute are going to be hit with a lot of wet weather.
So tomorrow morning you'll wake up scattered rain showers.
The warm front makes its way through.
It's going to be pretty nasty, uncomfortable, dreary, cool and clammy.
And then midday break features
sunshine temperatures surge to about 80 degrees.
It's weird. The sun comes out and it feels like
nice, right? You think it's all over
and then it's not because after 5 p.m. a line of thunderstorms
spreads right across the state.
Stronger storms along the border between Pennsylvania and New
Jersey and those storms could be capable
of producing damaging winds in those areas. Now
as it passes through the state it's really just about
the downpours and some strikes of lightning.
It shouldn't be too terrible
but I just want you to be aware that as we look ahead we do have this
weather for tomorrow. So come Friday,
we have 40 to 60 mile per hour winds along the Delaware River.
There's a chance or a very, very small chance,
an unlikely one, for some rotating thunderstorms
capable of producing a tornado.
That's probably out toward the Lehigh Valley. So the closest it
would ever get to New Jersey is probably either Warren County
or Hunterdon County, but I doubt
that we're going to see that activity here.
You have a better chance of seeing 40 to 60 mile per
hour winds and pea-sized hail for the storms on Friday night.
The Friday morning stuff is just
like light rain showers. That's essentially it.
Here's a forecast showing you that it clouds up
tonight. Tomorrow morning, scattered rain.
It's dreary, misty and sprinkly. If not, drizzle is
going to be in the area with a cool temperature
in the mid fifties. You definitely going to need
the umbrella just, you know, to keep the drops away.
And then for the mid afternoon, well,
lunchtime spent outdoors, you have high temperatures,
upper seventies, near 80 degrees,
and then it should just be nice looking ahead.
So that's something again to look forward to.
However, the storms come in after 5 p.m.
That means your evening commute is not good.
Lunch is fine.
That's the only good part of Friday.
As you can see, the weekend features windy weather Saturday
and Sunday gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
I'll tell you how low it actually goes.
Coming up.
Mike, thank you.
Trick or treat.
