By focusing on convenience, self-care rituals, and emotional connection, she emphasizes the necessity of taking time for oneself to avoid burnout when caring for others.
Whether you're caring for yourself,
caring for three other people, five other people,
in my case, even seven other people,
you have to take a second for yourself.
And I'm going to tell you exactly what that means
in three things or three ways that you
can do it.
I'm no stranger to running a chaotic household.
We've been having children since 2019
and the household just keeps growing and growing
by the year.
Taking away my hormonal imbalances,
my lack of recovering from postpartum, and just me thinking
that I'm superwoman, I've had to take a step back
and really think about how am I taking care of
myself? Am I taking care of myself?
And what have I done for myself lately? Number one would be food
like you see me doing here.
Walmart grocery delivery has been the number one staple for our
family at a hundred dollars for the entire year I'm able
to get orders delivered straight to my
front door whenever I want any time of the day not any time
because you know they're not 24 hours
anymore sorry but um any time of the day
and I'm just able to start my day off knowing that one I
can eat whatever I want that day two if I need
to pick up something quick it's just handed straight
to me it just really eases my mind with having to think about oh
when my husband gets home I have to
go to the store or holding off things
for the weekend things like that I'm able to just handle
things right when it needs to be happening I'm able
to get orders same day it has really taken
off a mental load of the things that I need
in my home to have my home operate properly every day
number two would be the ultimate shower routine
not that I'm doing like a major shower routine
every single day like with the whole body scrub the whole shebang
and all that I'm keeping it
very basic on an everyday basis
but that once twice a week it has to honestly be twice a week
for you to really feel an effect
but once twice a week of having that extreme bath time seven steps
all that type of stuff candle lit incense music
that type of vibe it has to go down I need some
type of time and I already know that the bathroom
is where I'm going to get my time and the third
the ultimate most important one would be speaking
with my spouse taking that time at the end of the
day to just unwind with an adult that gives me
the clarity that gives me the mental reset having
to deal with all of the children all day long
the homeschooling the everybody being hungry everybody
being at different stages in their lives everybody wanted
to grow up their own way and do their own
thing and find out who they are and all these things
that we experience on an everyday basis
in this household i have to speak to an adult at some point in the day
or i literally will go nuts
so just to run it back i need my walmart grocery delivery convenience
and all my household
necessities right at my front door number two
is that two times a week ultimate mega shower session
and number three is that adult conversation time
at the end of the day being able to sit down with
my husband and just vent and just talk about everything together.
If you're alone, I highly
suggest you seek in a relationship with God,
opening up the Bible when you get some time
and really just taking in anything that you're reading,
allowing God to speak to you through
his word and just figuring out how you can find
your calm at the end of the day. So whether you're
caring for yourself, three people, five people,
and in my case, seven other people, you have to
find some balance and make sure you take care of yourself.
May God continue to bless you all. Thank
you so much for watching. Make sure you like, comment,
subscribe, hype this video and share. Bye-bye.
