Long Island family wins big on 'Family Feud'

Well, this Rockville Center area family is used to having fun and games, and it actually helped them land on Family Feud. Now, when the lights were shining their brightest, though, it was this question that gave them the most trouble. Name an animal that starts with the letter D other than dog. When I heard that, all I kept on hearing in my head was dog, dog, dog, dog, dog. We both got the buzzer on that. It was fast money, and I couldn't come up with an answer, and he couldn't come up with an answer. But it was also after 12 hours of taping that day. Well, donkey and deer were the top two answers. I never would have thought of them either. But the Griffo family was able to rebound, and they won, bringing home $70,000 in prize money. And the five contestants are now using it to pay for a much larger family vacation to Italy. When we sent in the application and we were talking about doing it, we were like, wouldn't it be great if we actually won money and we could go on a family trip? So it was like the five of us were going, but we were playing for everybody.
