Reserve Colonel of the Russian Armed Forces and Z-patriot Valery Zaderey predicted Russia's defeat due to the protracted war and Vladimir Putin's economic policies. He made the loud statement on air with Russian propagandist Pavel Ivanov.
Zaderei noted the dire state of Russia's public finances, adding that Russians will have to feel the consequences of the so-called "SVO" in their pockets. "As a result of this 'special military operation,' which is dragging on and beginning to wear down our forces, and as a result of policies, including those of the financial bloc, the government, and the Central Bank, the Russian budget deficit is growing. This will be passed on to the people, to entrepreneurs. There's nothing else to expect here... This is a trend, and it will ultimately lead to our defeat. Victory cannot be achieved this way!" declared the Z-patriot. He noted the lack of unity in Russia and the fact that the majority of Russians do not want to take part in the war and “remain on the sidelines.”
Kremlin propaganda mouthpiece Vladimir Solovyov literally lost his temper during one of his broadcasts and publicly lashed out at former Verkhovna Rada deputy and traitor to Ukraine Oleg Tsarev, who dared to tell the Russians the truth about the Ukrainian army's successes near Liman on his Telegram channel in late September. In his post, the collaborator reported on a video from the Third Army Corps of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, which showed 250 Russian occupiers captured during one of the stages of Operation Vivaldi. In the same post, Tsarev pointed out that the Russian Ministry of Defense and General Staff are keeping silent about the incident, not commenting on the video of the prisoners, resulting in growing distrust of official information channels among Russians. The collaborator recalled that as early as September 19, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported "clearing neighborhoods of isolated Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen" in Liman, but just nine days later, Russia was seeing videos of hundreds of captured Russians on that section of the front. Tsarev cited other similar cases of lies by the Russian leadership that occurred in previous years of the full-scale war. Tsarev's statements sent Solovyov into a fit of rage on air. He began shouting and accusing his collaborator of practically working for the SBU and other Ukrainian intelligence agencies. According to the propagandist, Tsarev "launched an information bomb prepared by the SBU, Biletsky, and others." Solovyov accused Tsarev of "bringing a subpoena to Russia, for which someone else would have already been jailed for discrediting the army." The propagandist then reproached the collaborator for living in Russia at the expense of the Russian authorities. "We have sheltered this man in our country, we have provided him with a system under which he can live, he exists only thanks to the mercy of our authorities, his income is connected only with the mercy of our authorities," the propagandist declared. Solovyov then went even further, accusing Tsarev of causing the deaths of Russian soldiers. The propagandist recalled an incident that, he claims, occurred in 2022 near Kyiv, when, due to a call from Tsarev, Russian troops came under fire.
