In this vlog, I spend a little time with my Bible and Home by Marilynne Robinson, wander through our local bookstore and downtown, share good food and long conversations with friends, and, the following weekend, take a little drive away from the bustling city. There are children playing in the backyard and those small, ordinary moments that are so easy to overlook.

Perhaps a quiet, simple life isn’t about doing less, but about being present enough to notice what is already here.
