The Intimacy of the Ordinary | Slow Autumn Days at Home | Baking Rustic Bread Rolls

There is a certain tenderness in the ordinary things we do, the familiar rhythms of home, and the little moments that quietly make up our days.
In this vlog, I spend a little time reading Theo of Golden over coffee, baking rustic bread rolls with my son, and watching him learn to rollerblade and play soccer with his father on the grass.
Later, we find ourselves outdoors, among the rustling leaves and trees, where squirrels are busy gathering and nibbling nuts near their little homes in the ground.
Nothing particularly remarkable, just a collection of familiar moments, the warmth of my homemade bread, the pleasure of a good book I savor for a week, the laughter of my child, and the quiet life unfolding around us.
Perhaps the intimacy of the ordinary is simply this: learning to pay attention to the small things we are already living.
