The Unique Dong Xam Temple Festival

Dong Xam Temple, located in Hong Thai Commune, Kien Xuong District, Thai Binh Province, is dedicated to the worship of Trieu Vu De and Queen Trinh Thi. The site is steeped in legends surrounding a village renowned for *cheo* and *ca tru* performances, as well as the temple honoring Nguyen Kim Lau—the founding ancestor of the local traditional silver-carving craft. Every year, on the first day of the fourth lunar month, the local community holds a grand festival featuring unique traditional cultural activities that attract a large number of visitors from both within and outside the province.
