Introducing The Mini Duff | What's In Your Duff?
Today I’m introducing The Mini Duff — a new way to build and carry a subcompact EDC loadout.
The Mini Duff fills the space between a traditional EDC pouch and a full-size backpack or gear bag. It looks like an ordinary small duffel from the outside, but inside it becomes a modular platform for everyday-use gear, preparedness equipment, electronics, tools, power, communications and other compact essentials.
That’s where the stealth part comes in. Instead of carrying something that immediately looks tactical or overloaded with external gear, the Mini Duff keeps everything contained inside a simple, low-profile package.
For this first build, I’m using the Mini Duff to carry several individual modules including electronics, power, tools and preparedness gear. The Evergreen waterproof dry box adds another protected layer for equipment that I want isolated from the rest of the loadout.
This isn’t meant to replace a pocket EDC, backpack or larger emergency kit. The Mini Duff is its own category: more capability than a pouch, substantially smaller than a backpack, easy to grab, easy to organize and adaptable to whatever job you build it around.
And this is only the beginning.
