Ashtown pike fish up close in an unhealthy condition, judging by its scales

An unhealthy pike fish is studied up close in its natural habitat. This pike fish gave me an excellent opportunity to observe it as it relaxed in the water in its natural predatory environment. An underwater camera captures this magnificent aquatic animal up close; the pike is a carnivorous fish that hunts and feeds on other water-dwelling animals. Pike will also eat newborn ducks and other birds born in the water. The pike will catch and eat rats and other small animals that swim in its water habitat. Fish are thriving in this rarely seen underwater habitat at visible depths as they come into view as the camera ascends. This water world is another example of how nature thrives, and the right combination of elements produces unimaginable, fantastic wild animals with spectacular biodiversity to study. These water habitats are unique biospheres where the creation of life can be observed at the micro-level, revealing and providing insight into otherwise unseen and unknown worlds on planet Earth.
