David Battensby is a retired Mechanical Engineer with a keen interest in photography.

"I will photograph anything that grabs my attention be it "normal" landscape, seascape and street, sometimes with intentional camera movement and multiple exposures.

I am of an age when Black & White photos were the norm and still retain a great love for Black & White images. I am particularly drawn to dark (deep blacks), dystopian and abstract images that sometimes distorts reality. Occasionally I use an infrared (850 nm) converted camera to produce darker style images."
