Good morning folks. Welcome to the final round of the 2026 Green Mountain Championship presented
by Discmania. We are broadcasting live from the number eight ranked disc golf course in the world
in Fox Run Meadows. It is officially playoff season on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. Mullins-Coggins
has a three shot lead. I see Auster to the center a little lower. Slides just inside that tassel.
45 attempts misses. Now just the sixth player to hit the circle.
They have own marked at 43 feet. Can't imagine a layup here.
Drills it. There wasn't a moment she ever thought of laying that one up.
Just one grab of the chalk bag. Four seconds over her lie and buries it on the strong side.
Own the first player on the lead card to birdie. Putts like this have allowed Own to stand above
the crowd. There are so many players that walk up to that putt, deliberate, think about what
they're going to do. No thought. Oh and Missy will back it up. She'll be the second player to birdie.
Heiser on the fifth through the gap. Good forward skip. That's C1. Katrina sitting tied for fifth.
Rebecca Dahn two back. Great Heiser through the gap. She's at 20 feet putting for her first birdie
of the day. Today's conditions are really becoming such a huge factor. Katrina a tough backhand
turnover on the sixth, but she solves it. Trying to shoot between those large trees.
Just bring it around that center tree. Heiser it in with good height. Hauling a little tight with
the Athena gets right around the corner. Roll out to a couple paces outside the bullseye.
Hauling to pick up two on Scoggins. She'll be within three shots. Own curls to just inside C1.
Not close for most people, but own close. She's inside the circle. It's own close 27 feet.
Makes them look like bullseye's edge. Effortless to make putts like that. You know as soon as
she kind of bends those knees, she's ready. Talking about a woman who just recently entered
motherhood. Almost took the entire 2024 season off. What a shot down the hill on the seventh.
She is really in control of the release point over the past few months Val. Yeah this is
beautifully done. Not the most extreme angle while she skips off the OB line.
This perfect control. Holland is so far back. I don't think she has the distance to reach the
pin from here. So this is going to take in a different strategy. She's thinking otherwise.
She's attacking the green. What a shot over 400 feet out. It's a bullseye hit Val. That's amazing.
She's putting this longer putt with headwind toward OB. Own drills it.
Never a doubt. The riskier the putt, the more locked in own gets. And then you're throwing
down a fairway that is between that lake ravine and the tree line. It is gusty out here on these
next few holes. Does not seem to be a problem for Katrina Allen. Just outside the bullseye.
Just throw it out there with a little angle and let the wind take it to the basket.
Trying to get too tricky. Can Evelina step up? Doors open. Gain strokes. I like the height here.
Great angle. Come on wind. Forehand's been silky all week. She's been loving Annie but she's gonna
have to go hyzer through the gap on 11. Slips it up for a moment. Splits the gap. It's curling.
Oh it's just back in bounds. Putting for birdie from 30 feet. Katrina to get within two.
That's actually to get to 18. She'll be three back but her sixth birdie of the day Val.
More than anyone on the course. Scoggins from 36 feet. A lull in the wind. She's got it.
Ice in the veins. Miss you can't make is like hitting the base of those trees with speed.
Evelina might challenge them. Should go around the backside. Open look for Eve. She sinks it.
Katrina skips it through the bullseye. That's gonna be her seventh birdie of the day.
Evelina out of position. Also gonna be forced to lay this up. But no she will attack and she
gets a green flag. Lay up as short as you can. Across the creek in two from out of position.
Ripping wind coming straight up the tunnel. She's lining up all hyzer. Challenging the tree on the
left. Did she find a pocket? It's got to skip out. No. Scoggins does not cross. She is out of bounds.
She will be throwing her fifth from the short side of the creek and pending a throw in.
We will have a new leader. Beautiful. She's been doing it all day. She's got another putt for par.
Circle three into the headwind. It'll be a double bogey for Scoggins. She will drop to 20. Missy will
remain at 21. And this is for the lead. She's got it. Katrina from a good spot playing the flex
forehand. Oh gets the anti-skip. Just the fourth player to find circle one in regulation and this
would be just the third birdie. Wow she's got it. Katrina Allen eight birdies on the day.
Bean boots aren't made to sit on a shelf. They're made to be worn. To see the world from the ground
up. From Maine to Tokyo. Side trails to soccer practice. Seasoned by the seasons themselves.
You wear them in by simply wearing them out. Here there and everywhere in between. These are boots
that become more and more yours with every step forward. And the best way to wear them is to just
keep wearing them. One stroke advantage going into hole 18. Paul Heiser very conservative play.
I like it. She's going to put the pressure on Owen. Says you have to birdie Owen. I'm not going to
mess up. Owen also not biting off a ton of distance. I'm feeling like wherever Owen lands she's
got to run for it if she wants the win. Evelina quickly fires that to the bullseye's edge. She'll
have that for a podium. Owen has one last chance if she wants to throw it in and tie it up.
I don't understand Val. What am I seeing? What did we just see? That was a pure layup.
There was not a go for that at all. Really strange decision. I mean she's not banking on
Missy to mess this up. I mean even with Missy just messing up the previous one this is
like nine and a half out of ten. Missy's first win of the season is 18 feet away from her.
It is within her grasp. This is the moment she needs to step up as a professional disc golfer.
This event is hers with this par putt. No. Missy Gannon lifts into the band.
We are in disbelief and somehow Scoggins looking like a genius with the layup.
She'll have this to push a playoff. Couldn't be more nervous for Missy standing over that putt.
Owen is in to push it. I just can't wait to talk to Owen because I'm still, you know,
she's going into the playoff so it worked out for her. I'm still blown away that she didn't run.
You know what you need to do. You're first on the tee. You stick to your game plan
and you hit the shot. Scoggins a little more speed on this hyzer.
A little better than regulation but still a tough task to get up to the green for Birdie.
Yeah not a ton of distance but she is easily safe. Another conservative hyzer for Missy
that needs to bite and it will. I think advantage Owen. I feel like Owen maybe
thought that if she went for it with that kind of force, missed it, went out of bounds it's a
surefire miss and then she's lost. But she wanted to bet on Missy and she's going to be in bounds.
Chance to get up and down for par again. Missy, does she really want the Birdie?
Take the turnover. This is sharp. This is trouble. Val hits the tree. That saved her.
That absolutely kept her from out of bounds. Just inside 150.
It's at the edge of the hill so you do want to check up short.
Too short. It's going to get a lift. Asking for it to sit. It's going to stay safe but it's 34 feet deep.
Oh my goodness. Owen just has to nestle this close. Put the pressure on Missy to putt.
Nose up. It's running away. Goodness. Just a few steps closer than Missy. Missy will putt first.
Missy has to have this putt on lock. Look at how steep it climbs uphill. It's ripping.
12 to 15 miles per hour. Headwind putt. She's going to have to release this nose up.
Exposing that bottom side of the disc to that wind. Comes up short. Seemed to be on line for a moment.
Not enough spin. It'll be Owen Scoggins for the dub.
Weak side. Sticks it. Owen Scoggins, a champion here in Vermont. Please keep your applause going
for the 2026 winner of Discmania's Green Mountain Championship here at Smuggler's Notch Resort,
Owen Scoggins. Back to back victories for Owen Scoggins on the Disc Golf Pro Tour.
She also locks up the Tour Points title. The first Masters-eligible player ever to do
to do just that. Owen Scoggins, she's in tears. So emotional here in the booth. You were in tears
after you hit that final putt. Outpouring of emotion after taking down an incredible win
against Missy in that playoff. Where are the tears coming from, Owen? Hey, you know what? It's very
surprise winning because I was OB on hole 16. I mean, I'm not gonna lie. I feel like I'm keep
up on that one. You know, I keep up and I just like, oh, you know, all right, I'll take second
place. And then for me, I'm just gonna try to like not mess up more and form second place to third,
you know. So I'm just try to be patient and then just play for save. And then my plan just
play for second place. That's why my tears coming out because I just couldn't believe I just win.
Well, you have a chance next week to be the number one player on the Powerball Cup standings
if you can play well next week at MVP Open, overtaking Silva. How does that feel after a
long season? You know what? Overall right now, I feel like, of course, gonna be another pushing
big time next week. But I feel like I do it so good so far this year. If anything happening,
if I'm not number one, it's okay for me. At least I'm top five. That is very proud of myself. I'm
45 years old. Anything is not getting easy for me. So I feel like my goal, I'll be super happy
to just finish top five next week. And then in Pro Tour, maybe top three, I'm okay. I'm very proud.
Well, let's hear for your champion Onskogin, everybody.
