This Video Will Remind You Why Ohn Scoggins is Awesome

We didn't really get to talk to you much this offseason. You came off of an incredible season, two world championships. What did you do this offseason? Um, pretty enjoy my life just kinda like hanging out, do my garden, cut the tree, pick, you know, just like shopping, what do you call it, the soil to like prepare for my new girl. Um, not much, pretty much like just lie down on the couch and eating a lot. I gained a lot of weight. I gained like eight pounds. But hey, I Okay, I deserve it, come on. Yeah it's a great bounce back and look at this gap that Own has found that's pure it doesn't touch anything nearly dunks it and she's in the bullseye. We saw Missy try and sneak one through that gap yesterday. It's Goggins from 50 to go within one. She's got it! Three out of the last four. This is it right here. Looks great, Val. Getting back. That's a bullseye. Owen Scoggins, likely to be your champion here at Olympus. Discraft in Florida's Adventure Coaster, 2026 Supreme Flight Open champion, Owen Scoggins. Owen for a long range birdie. Oh, there it is. Dead center for Owen Scoggins. Here's the gap. Likely a little more work to do on the green. Oh, there it is, actually, parked. That's a lot of metal for it not to go in. Scoggins hit for birdie. Praising the Lord that she actually made a putt. Her first C2 make of the day. She's one for four now. Yeah, there's a cross to the left right now. Oh, safe on the island. I would say five to ten mile an hour. Let's see what kind of angle she needs to put on this. At least 12 or so trees. Protect the pin and it's coming in just short but weaving around him and that is a bullseye hit for Owens-Scoggins. That's gonna be a tap in from there. Wow! Current world champion Owens-Scoggins putting from downtown and knocking it down again! Two in a row. A 65 foot birdie for Scoggins. Wow, after missing the fairway. Wow, what a shot. The trouble here with this footing is it's uphill and then it's easy to overturn this kind of a shot but she picked the stability and the angle right. Beautiful. Scoggins is going to have a tap in birdie at the 18th. Step away and says she's happier than ever with her decision and still plays disc golf all the time. Scoggins. Yes. That is nice. Third for Scoggins. Oh! And it does, but bounces out left side. That will be great. We need the metal counter. I'm telling you guys. Put it on the screen. Someone's got to be making it right now. This is ridiculous. Is that our fourth metal hit from outside at 150 feet? Well, how many did we have yesterday? We're approaching 10 on the weekend that we've just seen on camera so far. That could have caught. Took the smaller gap, drilled it. Scoggins, this needs to slow down. Oh, wow! I was going to say, I think she's going to throw it in with her release because she had this beautiful high extension. I was like, man, she's going for it. Owen Scoggins flex forehand on the eight. Is it destroyer number one or destroyer number two? Oh, it's destroyer number eight for sure. Number eight. Eight for eight. And that's a bullseye. It doesn't take her long to find the bucket. Flecked it right out of the hand. Opportunity. She'll step it off. Love it all. Love it. Okay, I'll let Silva come out of the rough. And she's got ice in her veins. It's Owen Scoggins from 40 feet to take the outright lead. Owen Scoggins to win the Barbasol Open. And she's got it! Put on another hat. Her second here in Austin. Unstoppable, Owen. Ladies and gentlemen, please help me congratulate your champion of the Barbasol Open at Austin presented by Hampton Inn, Home 2 Suites, Austin East. She'll find the bullseye. And Birdie there will get owned back to even par. Owned caches, 48 feet. Owned for Birdie. No kidding me, she walks it in and still limping to get it out of the basket. Missing the birdie. Oh, are you kidding me? Good morning, Owen. There was simply not enough space. It wasn't even swinging from left to right. I love this tee shot. So steeply downhill. They're aiming for that right there. Oh, she tries to bring it up for birdie on five. Come on. Fireworks early. And this is a true yin-yang of a team. Chosek with the distance, one of the best power throwers, Owen, arguably the greatest putter of all time across divisions. We're going to get to see it again. Great call, Brian. Know this hole. I don't think anybody makes a destroyer land as softly as Owen Scoggins. Unreal. Five shots off the lead. Yeah! She is so good at those putts, being able to just kind of almost like do a little S-curve on the putt. Very difficult, high-caliber putt. And that is going to take them into a tie for the lead. Oh, a successful chest bump. Yeah, I love the own jumps. Taylor just kind of like stretches out. It is the 11th season, yeah? Yeah, the ways that the tour has developed and... No way. You never stop. That's something you don't see. We'll get back to that. That's a unicorn drive, Ryan. You don't see forehand drives finish on the green. You see her jumping for joy. Look at this shot. I can't wait to see it from this angle. This is a overstable max distance driver. This is your one-shot energy replay. Bounce, bounce, knockdown, hard job. Sure. Goggins now off the tee of 10. Gotta make something happen. She's pinned high. Yeah, deep. Inside circle, but deep. Her friend is still coming along for the ride. This is pretty impressive at this point. Now is that a moth or a butterfly, Jerm? I'm starting to think moth. It's actually a very rare species of hummingbird. I hate you. I know, I understand that hatred. And if you break that glass, you have the first answer. Oh! Nearly the counter skips into the basket for Eagle. What a shot! And your back-to-back-to-back champion, Owen Scoggins. It's a three-peak. Not once, not twice, but three times, LWS opened the Ottawa champion, Owen Scoggins. Owen forced to go to a straddle. This for par. Oh, wow. Did that just go off the tree? It sure did. I'll tell you that one. You heard her. We've got to see that one again. And from her angle. Lightning quick. One of the fastest rounds of the year. Scoggins from 55. Can she do it? You know it. There she is. And I know the country's landlocked, but we have a Laotian bull shark on our hands, Val. Got it! Doesn't even matter. Par, baby. That should help Owen's attitude. Wow. Who would have thought? That large maple there on the corner, that's the edge. You want to go around, and that's when you start heading down the hill. About 80 feet down the hill. Oh, yeah. Gets the forward skip as well. You never know where it's going to land. It's completely blind from where Owen's throwing it. I feel like Owen maybe thought that if she went for it with that kind of force, missed it, went out of bounds, it's a for sure fire miss, and then she's lost. But she wanted to bet on Missy. What a reaction. What a face from Scoggins. She's kissing the steak. I'm going to take a break. Thank you, steak. A national treasure, Owens-Scoggins, it'll be Owens-Scoggins for the dub. Weak side, she sticks it, Owens-Scoggins, a champion here in Vermont. What? The 2026 winner of Discmania's Green Mountain Championship here at Smuggler's Notch Resort, Owens-Scoggins! That is back-to-back victories for Owens-Scoggins on the Disc Golf Pro Tour. She also locks up the Tour Points title, first Masters-eligible player ever to do just that. Own Skoggins, she's in tears, so emotional here in the booth. Long look for Own. She got it. She got it. What a start for Own Skoggins. Your tour points champion in 2026, and she knew it. Look out. I knew it. That was so good right out of the hand. Rolling back to Roller Ridge replay. What a smoothie. Well, her wish was not granted, but she didn't need one. Oh, putter extraordinaire. Very sick. Oh, it's going to park it. Oh, it's going to really park it. It's going to put the frosting on the cupcake. What a shot. Yeah. It's not over yet. Exactly what needed to happen. Colin Hanley has laid up. Here's Scoggins in the weak side from the drop zone. Such a big cash from the drop zone. Saw Katrina do it a couple plays back. Especially with a putt like Owens, there's no safety. There's no soft bid. And this is a good look of just how much of a severe angle down that is. I agree. It is all or nothing from the drop zone. Justin's got the umbrella out. How hard is it coming down? Well, yeah, it's so incredible. Eoin, of course, is going to run it down. She's making it rain one way or another. Huge pop by Scoggins. Hi, Eoin Scoggins. Thank you for watching the Disc Golf Pro Tour on YouTube. Please like and subscribe to see more Disc Golf videos.
