As summer gradually draws to an end, both Ukraine and Russia are regrouping their forces. This is what authoritative OSINT expert Clement Molin writes about . Most Russian groups have failed to achieve their goals and are now concentrating significant forces on a 30-kilometer stretch of the front in the Dobropillya region. In the Northern Front, the "North" group managed to open several new border offensive lines, but failed to create a large buffer zone along the border. The 44th Army Corps forms the core of the Russian forces here. A year after Russia claimed to have captured Kupyansk, the city remains a disputed area, and Ukrainian forces continue to hold numerous positions east of the Oskol River. The 6th Combined Arms Army was able to expand its advance along the border, but lost its positions on the eastern bank of the Oskol River near Dvurechnaya. Further south, the 20th Combined Arms Army completely failed its mission: it lost positions north of Liman and three regiments during the fighting. The 25th Combined Arms Army also failed to establish control of Liman and advance toward Slavyansk. Only the Russian 3rd Army Corps managed to advance toward Slavyansk, achieving one of the most successful results. In the central part of Donbas, Russia continues to maintain a relatively small force east of Kramatorsk: the 70th and 6th Motorized Rifle Divisions. The latter is advancing on Kostiantynivka. Three Russian armies are currently advancing on the southern flank of Donbass: the 8th, the 41st, which was transferred to the Dobropolye region from Pokrovsk, and the 51st Combined Arms Army. The 76th Airborne Assault Division and the 2nd Combined Arms Army continue to control the western flank of the main Russian offensive in the Pokrovsk area, while the weakened remnants of the 90th Tank Division remain in the Novopavlovka area. To the south is the "Vostok" group, which includes the 29th Combined Arms Army, which has accounted for some of Russia's losses this year in this direction. In the southern sector of the front, the 36th Combined Arms Army, the 68th Army Corps, and the 5th, 35th, and 58th Combined Arms Armies continue their offensive on Orekhov from various directions. At the same time, some Russian divisions maintain pressure south of Zaporizhzhia. The weak Dnepr group is currently not participating in any offensive operations. That's all for Russian forces. The Ukrainian command is also currently regrouping its forces, forming new groups and returning to the previous organizational structure. The army corps' positions on the map are largely indicative, as the new system has not yet been fully established. The northern direction is covered by at least three army corps. The Kharkov direction is in the area of responsibility of the 2nd Army Corps, Volchanskoye is in the area of responsibility of the 16th Army Corps, and Kupyanskoye is in the area of responsibility of the 10th Army Corps. The 3rd Army Corps is now responsible for the Center group with new brigades in the area from Borovaya to Slavyansk. The new Azov group is responsible for the Kramatorsk-Dobropillia sector. It comprises the 1st, 19th, and 11th Army Corps. The new "South" group will presumably be responsible for the Pokrovsk-Zaporizhzhia sector. It includes the 12th, 7th, 21st, 8th, 20th, 9th, and 17th Army Corps. Finally, the Dnieper direction is covered by the 30th Marine Corps. The main thing to consider is: Russia is concentrating the 8th, 41st, and 51st Armies of the "Center" group in the Dobropillya-Druzhkovka direction. They are opposed by Ukraine's 1st Army Corps "Azov," part of the "Azov" group; — Russia has concentrated weaker forces east of Kramatorsk and Slavyansk as part of the "South" group, while Ukraine is currently reorganizing its forces in this direction. — The 3rd Army Corps of Ukraine, as part of the Center group, is advancing against the 20th and 25th Russian armies.
