The Broncos are a DISGRACE...
Sep 16, 2026
If you want to know how bad this game is, I am recording this with 1325 left in the fourth
quarter. The Broncos went three and out after the Chiefs have went up 31-10. This might be worse
than 70-20 for me. Just purely on the vibes going into the season, I thought the results of this
were either going to be Broncos blowout win, Broncos win close game, Chiefs win close game.
I did not think that this kind of performance was even possible.
All things are possible with Mahomes and Andy Reid. Clearly, going into anything with the Chiefs
game is just faulty, is silly. I knew that the Chiefs could win this game. Them winning in a
blowout did not seem in the realm of possibility for me. I was clearly wrong. This was one of the
most despicable, disgusting games of all time in Broncos history, in my opinion,
at least a race in Broncos history. They have nothing but to be ashamed of in their performance
today. You can call me a negative Nancy. There's nothing to be proud of in this performance.
Bowe has nothing to be proud of. Davis Webb, they're going to be calling for his job already.
Who cares? Sean Payton, Vance Joseph, disaster class on all fronts. No one showed up ready to
play. Everyone seemed like they were just ready to take it. They seemed like they were ready to
be the champs before they were even able to earn it. What's ironic is I think a day or two ago,
the Broncos social media team posted a hype video for the season saying,
gotta go earn it, nothing is given, and that is the opposite of how the Broncos came out today.
They looked like they just felt like everything was going to be given to them. I've never seen
a more poorly coached Sean Payton team with the Broncos besides 70-20. I might chalk this up as
the worst Sean Payton loss of the Broncos era. With the expectations, with the roster they put
together, there is some serious soul searching that they need to do and fast because of the
teams that they are going to have to play going forward. I mean obviously we are 0-1 in the
division. I'm much more quicker to words than this. It's the fact that the vibes were so positive. We
were so healthy going into this game. Mansour Delane was out of this game for the most part.
Kenneth Walker, who we were in the running for in the free agency run, just ran all over us.
They were out with their starting left tackle. Broncos, I'm just watching them,
they're in disbelief. No one has answers for anything. Chiefs were better coached,
better prepared on every step of the way. To say they were unprepared would be an understatement.
You're probably waiting, where is the analysis? You're not going to get any. Not really
statistically because does it matter? The Broncos on all fronts were horrendous.
I'll say they were fighting through three quarters and I think it wasn't until the
fourth quarter where they realized they had been outcoached, outplayed, out-physicaled
in every sense of the word in a way that they didn't even find possible.
Much less to the fans, I think, this is just brutally honest from the chest
and maybe I'm being overly harsh. I don't think I am. I think the Broncos are going to receive
some of the worst. We are looking at Chargers level losing to the Cardinals backlash from this
game in a sense that the expectations and the way they played were almost on completely different
stratospheres. Normally, here I am, I'm supposed to be, and this is just pure honesty coming from
me. You can almost see the game still playing in my background. Normally, I do more analysis.
Normally, I show stats. Normally, I show last year was really exciting sweeping the Chiefs.
One of those games, obviously, my homes wasn't even playing on Christmas Day.
It was a lot tougher fought than we expected. Chiefs wanted this more. It was clear from the
get-go. Kenneth Walker playing with his helmet on fire. There's nothing
about this game that is good. Nothing. The Broncos need to hit a reset. This was so bad
in the sense of the 70-20 game where you'd almost hope that the Broncos would hit a turnaround
because of how disastrous this was. The only problem is the schedule is really,
really brutal for the next five games. The Broncos can't get a stop. The Broncos can't
get a first down, turnovers, everything. On a personal note, I hate the Chiefs
more than I hate most things. Obviously, tonight is just brutal for me in a lot of ways. It's
brutal for a lot of Broncos fans. I know a lot of Denver fans feel the same way.
My solution is to be angry rather than sad. I have been despondent for the past hour, I would say,
realizing what kind of game this was. You usually can tell early on what kind of game it is.
I would say, be angry, show your displeasure. Not that the team is supposed to care about
outside noise, but it trickles through the media into questions that eventually get to
those postgame pressers, those training camp pressers, whatever. I can only say
the call to action should be to be upset, to be angry and frustrated. Bowe did not play well.
Davis Webb called a horrible offensive game plan. The defense was completely lost in almost every
aspect. I don't think there was a good thing tonight. The tackling speaks for itself. It
was horrendous. It was just awful. I don't know, guys. I'm sure Chiefs fans are relishing in the
fact that, hey, we got these Broncos. They can't tackle. They don't know what they're doing.
I'm watching another horrible tackling. The tackling drills are going to be
insane, I'm assuming, this next week. The Broncos know it.
They've been defeated in every sense of the word. I'm sure you guys are tired of me hearing
about it. I'm talking as I'm watching, to an extent, this putrid, disgusting performance of
a game. I'm sure maybe Chiefs fans will comment down below how much we are an abomination of
football. Sure. Thankfully, this is only game one and not a playoff game.
Yeah, we are an abomination right now. Anyway, there's eight and a half minutes left in this
game. I've never seen a more over game in my life. So, yeah, that's my reaction.
