Insider Drops BOMBSHELL Broncos Trade Report...
Nov 3, 2026
Sunday night right after Denver beat Kansas City
a Broncos reporter looked in the camera and said
this. I believe the Broncos are going
to do everything in their power to trade for Jonathan
Taylor. This would happen at any moment.
You might not want to go to sleep Broncos country.
Underdog NFL passed it along.
Taylor is the Broncos 1A plan. The Broncos are 6-2.
just beat the chiefs and the player they want
the most is a running back on a team that is two
and six. So is this real or is this reporter getting ahead
of the story? By the end of the
video you will know exactly what has to happen.
Got to start with Jonathan Taylor here because
the timing is wild.
If you want to know the second this trade drops or any other trade
be sure to subscribe.
We're currently sitting at 2,595,000 subscribers and this is exactly
Exactly the kind of story we'll have first.
On October 6th, he signed a two-year,
$44 million extension with the Colts, and it runs through
2028. That made him the second highest paid running back
in the league per year, behind
Bijan Robinson, who got his deal two days later.
Spread over two years, $44 million is $22 million
a year. That's the price tag
on a person Indianapolis just built around. That was just
less than three months ago, and now
the Colts are listening to offers on him.
Three-time pro bowler, drafted in 2020 by Indianapolis,
and he's never played for anyone
else.
So this is not a player the Colts are dumping.
This is their best asset on a team that has fallen apart around him.
Now, why Denver wants him?
That part is easy.
Jonathan Taylor has 587 rushing yards this season.
That's good for fifth in the NFL.
Dobbins, Coleman, and Harvey have 473 yards combined.
Taylor alone has 114 more than all three of them.
Dobbins is Denver's leading rusher with 293 yards and
Jonathan Taylor has 294 more than he does.
And it shows in the team's numbers.
Through week 17, Denver ran for 84.2 yards a game.
That is 26th in the league.
It's a 6-2 team with a run game of a team that is not.
That is the hole that you can see.
And as of October 23rd, J.K. Dobbins was averaging 3.3 yards to carry.
Taylor is at 4.2, almost a full yard more every time he touches it.
And he's not only a runner.
Jonathan Taylor has 8 rushing touchdowns and 17 catches for 178 yards.
That is 765 yards from scrimmage for a team that has won twice.
So Denver's need is obvious,
and the question is why Indianapolis would ever say yes.
And the timing makes sense because Denver's not winning easy.
Five of the Broncos' six wins have come by seven points or fewer.
One of them needed overtime.
Their only losses are at Kansas City,
31-10, and at San Francisco, 24-14.
And on Sunday, they got Kansas City back, 28-24.
That's the kind of game that tells you what
team this is and the team that lives
in one score games needs one thing in the fourth quarter and
that's a back who can close it out right now denver has jk dobbins
who counts six million dollars
against this year's cap and has a run game ranked 26th
and jonathan taylor is the exact opposite he
is one of the five rushing leaders in the league
on a team that cannot finish a game put him on a team
That wins close games,
and the question is not whether it helps, it's how much.
A week ago, the answer was no.
Adam Schefter reported that Colts
ownership sees Taylor as a foundational,
and his guess was that they would not trade him.
Then the Colts kept losing.
They're 2-6 now and have lost 5 in a row.
And on Sunday, they lost 42-7 at Jacksonville.
And on October 31st, Schefter and Rapoport flipped it.
The Colts are now open to trading.
Jonathan Taylor, and talks are actively ongoing.
The Colts have already traded Quinton Nelson and DeForest Buckner.
Taylor would be the biggest piece to go get.
And this is not about money.
The Colts have $25 million in cap space,
so they're not dumping salary, they're selling for picks.
So the Colts are now for sure selling,
and the only question left is the price.
And Denver's not alone.
Minnesota, the Giants, Cincinnati,
and Green Bay all have checked in there too.
That is 5 teams, so this is not Denver waiting on the phone call.
It's now an auction, and the Colts have...
The price so far is not low,
the Colts have already turned down a 2027 second round pick,
plus another one.
One reporter said the asking price is too high right now,
but that a trade is more likely
than not.
Another Brandon compared it to Christian McCaffrey trade,
a second, a third, a fourth, and a
fifth round pick.
And that's the comparison, not the offer,
and nobody has reported that Denver would
actually pay that, but it tells you the Colts
are asking for real picks, not a late rounder,
but probably not as much as Christian McCaffrey too.
So can Denver pay it?
We got to start with the cap.
Taylor's cap in 2026 is $16.2 million.
And Denver's $24.1 million in space.
And the actual cost this year is less
because the trade only moves the part of the season that is left.
He signed through 2028, so it's not a rental.
The cap is $21 million in 2027 and $23 million in 2028.
For comparison,
Dobbins counts $10 million against the 2027 cap,
so Taylor would cost about $11 million more.
Then the picks.
Denver still holds every one of its own picks
in rounds 1 through 7 in 2027, 2028, and 2029.
None of them are traded.
So the cap works, and the picks are there.
The only wall is how much Denver is willing to pay.
If the Colts want what Rannansaid,
Denver will be spending four picks on one running back.
That's the kind of price a 6-2 team can afford,
and that a 2-6 team will not turn down.
Now, here's the part Broncos country will not love.
Not everyone says this is close.
NFL Network's James Palmer said Denver
is monitoring the Taylor situation,
and that it's still more than likely he stays in Indianapolis.
Taylor has not asked for a trade.
He was asked about it on October 29th,
and he said that'd be crazy to even say.
After the Jacksonville loss, he said it's embarrassing,
and that his own performance was nowhere near up to par.
His colleague Henry Chisholm went further,
I think Jonathan Taylor is a Bronco by the end of the night.
And I couldn't find a single word from Sean Payton
or George Patton on Jonathan Taylor from this,
so the Broncos have not said anything out loud,
which I'm not considering a bad sign.
And the DNVR report is a beat reporter saying what he believes,
and from his understanding,
it's not that the Colts are saying yes for sure right now,
I want to be clear about that first.
So this is where it stands.
One reporter says tonight,
another reporter says he probably stays,
and the Colts are reportedly open to offers either way.
And keep in mind, this was after last night.
So from here, there are only three ways this ends.
One is that Denver wins the auction,
the Broncos pay a real pick,
maybe four like McCaffrey,
and Taylor lands in Denver,
and the 26th ranked run game
becomes the best part of the team.
Two is that someone else wins,
Minnesota, the Giants, Cincinnati, Green Bay,
any of the other teams involved,
they're all in on it,
and if one of them pays more,
Denver is left with what it has right here, right now.
Or three, nobody pays, and the Colts keep him.
I think that's still a possibility,
even though people are trending more towards a trade,
and the deadline may pass on November 10th
with him still being a Colt.
That's what Palmer said is still more likely.
Like I said, that third one's really not crazy.
Jonathan Taylor just signed his deal through 2028,
and he said he's not asking out.
But the Colts are two and six every week that passes.
The case for keeping a two and six team's best player
gets harder to make.
Here's the clock.
The trade deadline is Tuesday, November 10th at 4 p.m. Eastern.
Denver plays at Carolina on November 8th,
and that is the last game before the deadline.
Then comes the bye.
So if Denver gets him before the November 10th deadline,
that would give Jonathan Taylor the bye week
to learn the offense before the Raiders game on November 22nd.
But waiting is a risk too.
The Colts play Dallas on November 8th,
and every game Taylor plays gives another four teams
the same chance Denver has.
So here's my take.
When a team that, you know, said no,
now says that they're open to a deal,
it's usually closer than the denials.
Denver has the cap, it has every pick,
and it has the weakest part
of the roster sitting at 26th in the league.
So here's what you gotta watch.
A post from Schefter or Rapoport, Taylor missing practice,
or who Denver activates on November 8th.
And if the Broncos are serious about winning this year,
Jonathan Taylor is the move.
And if it does not happen by November 10th,
they're riding a run game that's ranked 26th,
But also has a very good pass-catching back
That is the whole story.
A team with money, the picks, and the need.
A player that the Colts are finally listening on in 8 days.
Does Denver get Jonathan Taylor by the deadline?
Comment yes or no down below.
Because it could happen at any moment.
And Broncos fans, you will not want to blink.
