Hello our citizens. Welcome to Brain Education TV.
My name is Chris and today we're going to answer the question
what is kigong? Many of my videos that you see
are kigong videos and kigong is the study of energy
or energy practice. Ki means energy. Gong has several meanings. It means
practice. So we have to consistently practice to be able to feel more and
more energy and to grow our energy. That leads to the second definition of
gong. Gong is cultivate. How do I grow my energy?
Most of us when we come home from work we're too tired to move or we're too
tired to think or we use our emotions and we're too tired
so we're lacking energy. So we need to be able to grow our energy or charge our
battery. So consistent practice, more cultivation,
we have more energy to use. Leading me to my
third and favorite definition is energy utilization.
Anything I do I need to use energy. To do my work I need to
use energy. To love my family, to love my loved ones, I need to use energy.
To dance I need to use energy. To create a
beautiful idea or to create a movie or write a book I need to use energy.
Most of us lose the creative side of things because we don't have enough
energy. So the essence of kigong is building that energy.
Now the source of all this creation is our brain.
So kigong is the essence of brain education. That is why our station,
our channel, is called Brain Education TV.
So the essence of brain education is kigong,
using energy. Most important aspect is to feel
energy. There's energy flowing through us all the time
but most people aren't aware of it. We don't know
how full or how low our energy is until it's too late.
So today we're going to do a little practice which is called
which is a energy sensitizing exercise. It means to stop your thoughts and stop
your emotions. When you can stop your thoughts and
emotions you can feel energy in your body. This is the
most basic essence of healing ourselves, of growing this
energy, of managing our emotions, managing our
mind so that we can create a life that's
peaceful and that we can create the life we want.
So let's experience kigong through feeling energy.
This is called jiga. So go ahead and have a seat.
You can do this standing if you're standing but I prefer to have a seat.
Feel your bottom touch the floor or the chair.
Straighten your spine. Relax your shoulders.
Now first we're going to just tap our fingertips a little bit.
Try to relax your shoulders. Have a little space under your armpits.
You want to start to feel the tapping sensation.
Good. So start to breathe in through your nose
and out through your mouth and just breathe comfortably
and then start to tap. Maybe tap a little harder.
Good. Now some people will already start to feel temperature
vibration. Good. And then slowly stop. Let your fingers sit about an inch apart.
Can you feel something? Buzzing, tingling, vibration, temperature.
If the answer is yes, you're doing amazing.
If the answer is not yet, that's okay. It takes
practice to be able to feel energy. So now I'd like you to
rub your palms. So especially those of you who don't feel energy well yet,
we might need to be a little stronger. So rub a little faster,
a little stronger, a little faster, a little stronger.
Try to create fire between your palms. Good job. Now slowly stop and open your
hands slightly. Can you feel something? Stronger,
softer. Good job. So we want to feel this energy here.
So again, if you're still not feeling it well, I got one more way to help us
experience. Some of you might be already in the mix.
So with your hands, I want you to just shake your hands a little bit.
So we have 10 fingers. Show me your 10 fingers. But I want you to
shake them so fast there's 20 fingers, 30 fingers, 50 fingers. Can you make it
look like there's no fingers? Faster, faster, faster, faster. Let your
hands disappear. There's vibration. Now slowly
stop. Now do you feel something? That's the energy, the key of Kegel.
Now I'd like you to close your eyes. The sensation
will probably feel more strong. Now as you inhale,
let the energy between your palms push away
like there's a ball of energy expanding between your hands.
And then as you exhale, squeeze the ball but don't touch.
Inhale expanding, exhale contracting. When you feel energy, you have slipped
past the thoughts, slipped past the emotions. You can
actually connect to the purest energy flowing through your
entire body. This activates your nervous system to
create healing. The better and better we get at
feeling energy, the easier it becomes to manage
our emotions, our mind. As we practice more and more we can
grow more energy, cultivate more and more energy.
We can fill our tank. More energy to do the things we want to do.
More energy to love the people we want to love.
More energy to create what we want to create.
Kegel is the essence of becoming the master of our life. Deep breath
in and out. Now slowly open your eyes.
Good. Can you still feel something in your hands? Some of us might feel
temperature. You might feel a buzzing or a tingling.
You might feel a substance. What you feel is not important but
feeling something is that energy. That's the sense we want to
grow. To be able to really take charge of our
body. To take back our brain so that we can
really come back to ourself and then create what we want to create.
So I hope you had a good experience feeling energy. That's the
foundation of everything we do in brain education. That's the essence of
everything we do in our life. So once you connect with the energy you
can really create everything you want to
create. So with that I look forward to seeing
you in the future video. We'll end our practice. Thank you.
