New York Yankees RUNNING Out Of Time?
1 Video View·Sep 10, 2026
It is what it is. The Yankees are running out of time.
They're running out of time. Winning the division, in my opinion,
is so important. They are four games behind Tampa Bay.
You guys let me know what you think about this down in the comments.
Do you think that the Yankees still have a shot at winning the American
League East? It's going to be hard, incredibly hard.
Tampa Bay has to lose a decent amount of games.
It doesn't seem like they're going to. It's going to be tough.
Also too, if you love the Yankees and you're not subscribed,
be sure to subscribe. This is the place to be. If you love the Yankees,
we have a great community over here.
You guys comment a bunch and interact with the content. I thank you guys.
So, so much, but we're trying to make this bigger.
We're on the road to 25,000 where we want 30, we want 40,000.
So please, if you could help us get to these crazy numbers,
that would be a blessing. But listen, let's just get back to business.
The New York Yankees are four games behind the Tampa Bay Rays
in the American League East. They're four games behind that.
The Red Sox are right behind them too. Seven games.
But when we go to the wild card, I mean, the Yankees have a very, very,
very comfortable lead in the wild card, right?
They have three games, the three games up above the Boston Red Sox.
Then he got Cleveland in there too. As of right now,
three American League East teams would make the playoffs.
The Blue Jays are right there. They're a game behind Cleveland.
So they are right there too. We can,
there's a scenario where we could see four teams from the same division
in the post season. That would be nuts.
But the Yankees have a very comfortable lead. So do,
so does Boston too in the wild card.
And if the Yankees at this point, they're going to play Boston.
So they have to stay ahead of Boston.
They can't drop any games to Boston.
They have to stay ahead of them because you don't want to go to Fenway park and
play them at Fenway park. That's just, you don't want to do that. Not at all.
So these games against Colorado,
these next few games against Colorado for the Yankees.
And then let's go check out the Yankee schedule. But you got,
you got Colorado, you have the Metropolitans,
then you have the twins, you have Arizona,
then the most important series of the year, Tampa Bay.
I would love it if the Yankees are two games back by the time that series comes
around and the Yankees do have a pretty soft schedule,
but the Yankees win Tampa Bay wins. The Yankees lose Tampa Bay loses.
That's not how you gain ground. Obviously, you know this.
So the Yankees desperately need Tampa Bay to basically lose the next two and
they can, they can lose the next two to Atlanta. I firmly believe that.
But then the Yankees have to win the next two. They have to, it's just,
it's just this stuff has to happen.
If you want any shot at the American league East and then you just stay,
you stay there two games back. You try to anyway, but that's asking a lot.
That's asking Tampa Bay to lose two in a row. Probably won't happen.
They don't really do that. They don't lose two games in a row often,
if at all. Now Tampa Bay,
they have the Braves for the next two games as we know.
Then they have the Astros. They have the athletics.
Then you got Boston before you face the Yankees.
So the Boston is having a good season.
The schedule is in the Yankees favor. It's in the Yankees favor.
They just have to win as many games as they possibly can.
And then pray that Tampa Bay does not play good baseball against the Atlanta.
These next two games pray that they fall into some funk against the athletics.
We saw how the angels play the Yankees.
Hopefully that's how the athletics play the race.
And then right before, imagine, I mean, it would be huge for Boston.
If Boston did this,
but imagine the Red Sox sweeping Tampa Bay going into the Yankee series,
Tampa Bay going into the Yankee series. And I mean,
even if Boston just beats them, that would be demoralizing for Tampa.
It would. And during that same stretch, the Yankees would have Arizona.
The Yankees are in a very good spot to win the division.
And I can't tell you how important it is. First of all,
you get a home field advantage throughout the American league.
We saw how that played for Toronto last season,
at least in the ALDS,
the Yankees most likely would go and face the Tampa Bay
rays and the ALDS this season. That makes me a little nervous.
It makes me a little nervous. I don't, I'm not sure is, you know,
in a five game series, I'm not sure if the Yankees would win that series.
And I know Tampa Bay is Yankee stadium South. Like I get it,
but Tampa Bay plays exceptionally well at home. They play really well at home,
but there, the, uh, the race is not over yet, guys.
It's not over yet. It's not even close.
Tampa Bay can easily lose the next two to Atlanta. They're a good team.
And the Yankees could easily win the next two.
Then you're heading into the weekend, two games behind Tampa Bay.
That's gigantic. You just need to maintain that. It's very, very, very, very,
very, very possible. And now Aaron judges back and listen,
did he have the best first game? No,
but this is first time facing live pitching and Lord knows how long since May
and Aaron judges presence in that lineup is just so important.
And that proved that yesterday did the Yankees scored five
runs. They weren't inept. They weren't, they scored five runs.
It was a McMahon had a key hit.
We saw Bednar get his 32nd save of the season.
That that's also what worries me too. It's that Yankee bullpen,
that Yankee bullpen is going to be the, the, the death of them. Really?
Tim Hill just isn't what he was. And listen, Tim Hill, fabulous story.
I love Tim Hill and cam Schlittler. My gosh, he,
he's going to win the AL Cy Young. He's he, he's going to win it a two Oh one.
He could finish the year with an era under to cease inflated.
His era, he gave up like five runs in his last start.
And Ramos got to hand it to him. He just said his second home run is a Yankee,
a three run Homer. Good job by Ramos.
Sometimes he really pisses me off. I'm not gonna, I'm not, I'm not,
I'm not going to be soft around the edges there.
He pisses me off a lot of the time and he goes and connects. It's a,
it's a three run Homer without that, without that three run Homer,
the Yankees don't win. So great job by Ramos.
Garcia went two for four. Jazz went two for four. Jazz is turning it around.
I'm telling you, I know Ramos came in for judge. I get that.
But Ram judges presence is just, it just matters so much.
It matters and it means so much. You have Garcia who's hitting.
Spencer Jones struck out three times. He's a rookie. That's going to happen.
He's having a good season. Get off his back, please. I became a hue.
Honestly, guys, if you play well, I had to cut myself off there.
If you play well in New York, people are going to fall in love with you.
That's just how it is. And Spencer Jones,
I did not anticipate him playing this well and he's playing well.
He strikes out a lot. I don't give a crap. He's his OPS is still very,
very, very respectable. He's not hitting 200. He's hitting 243.
Sitting for a lot of power to what's there not to like about this kid.
There's a lot to like about him. I love him in center field. I do.
And jazz is hitting. He's two for four. Well, he went two for four.
He has a seven 15 OPS. He went two for four last night against Colorado.
You love to see it.
Aaron judges presence in the lineup is just going to make this lineup deeper.
It will. And he drove a ball deep to right center field.
I thought that could have been out the, the way how the stadium reacted to it.
Naruto night, huh? Not
Naruto. Oh crap. That card went crazy, man.
People are offering hundreds of dollars for that. I'm not an anime guy.
I don't, I don't watch it. If you watch it, that's awesome.
I love to hear it, but I don't, I don't watch it. It was never my, my thing.
But man, people, these trading cards, like I know,
I know Pokemon is crazy trading cards. If you guys aren't into that,
I love baseball cards. I got this really cool rocket.
Roger Clemens autograph. Really cool from tops.
Chrome really fantastic. Don't know why we're talking about cards here,
but we are anyway, guys, let me know what you think down in the comments.
Hit that like button subscribe. If you haven't already. I mean,
if you listen this long into the video,
I would assume you're subscribed and thank you so much for listening this long
into the video without you, like honestly, without you, I couldn't do this.
Right? Cause when you watch to the very end,
you just improve the videos numbers,
you improve the channels numbers and that looks good on this platform on
YouTube. So just, just thank you guys so,
so much for everything. It truly does mean a lot.
Leave a comment down below if you stuck around this
far. It really does mean the world to me, but guys, listen,
that's all we got here. Thank you so much. The Yankees have a, I mean,
I don't know if I would call it an opportunity because of Tampa Bay wins,
then they win. I mean, they gain no ground, but they have a chance here.
It's just,
they're running out of time and they desperately need Tampa Bay to lose some
baseball games.
And it's very possible because Tampa Bay before they meet the Yankees are
playing some good baseball teams.
The Yankees have a weaker schedule, but listen guys,
thank you so much for watching. I'll see you next time. Take care.
