A group of friends and family gather in West Texas at Lost Maples State Natural Area for \"Buzzard Days.\" The event focuses on bonding, appreciating nature, and sharing life updates. The gathering includes a meal, a game of \"SINGO,\" and the planning of future camping trips to strengthen their community ties.
It is the day. Buzzard Day. I'm a bad influence. Look at all these Hawaiian shirts.
Everybody got a loud shirt. I duck everywhere I go.
Oh, leave it there. That's fine right there. Leave it here? You don't want it over there?
Y'all ready? Y'all set up and go again. Leave it alone.
A feast prepared. Take it over here. We got beans. Got a lock on it. Beans, chicken,
tall seeds. What spread? That's for later. We are the entertainment. Not much left.
Yeah, I'm ready. I don't think I'm the host. I just picked the spot.
I just made y'all drive out to West Texas. That's what I do. I make y'all travel.
I have no problem being the host. As long as y'all are doing all the work.
That's how it happens. Isn't that a great place to be? I do the videos. Y'all do the work.
Perfect. I'm done. No, seriously, thank you all for showing up. Monty, I'm talking.
Talking. You're drinking your whiskey.
We have to cut that out for you two. Monty's legal age. He can drink whiskey
anywhere. We're not in a state park. We're in a state natural area.
But we are in a beautiful state natural area. If y'all have not had the opportunity to go out
and walk on the maple trail, you need to. That's why you're here is to see the freaking trees.
So go deco from trees like I have done while you're here because y'all haven't done it either.
Time is ticking. You're not going to get another opportunity. Dead tomorrow. Go see the trees.
I'm done. We're going to play a single game that we've never played before,
but it looks like it's simple enough that Dude RV is going to be able to compete and win.
I don't know why y'all are even going to play.
Everyone, y'all are here. Thank you so much. Once again, thank y'all. Appreciate it.
As you can see, we've got a lot of OGs here. Soon to be. Y'all got goals now.
Thank y'all for coming. Appreciate y'all being here. 30 and a half. No full hookup. I went wide today.
All right. I'm going to jump in here. No cell phone service. No one else here. We have the
place to ourselves. We've only seen the park ranger once. Correct. Correct. But I will say this.
It's awesome. Thank y'all for showing up. Hey, it's about being with our friends, family,
and family. That's what this is about. It's not just about coming for whatever your reasons are.
It's for doing what we're doing these last hours. It's about a gift. It's about what we've done for
the last hour and a half and what we're going to do for the next hour and a half. Yes. Setting up
more places to go camp. Thank y'all that showed up. Thank y'all that missed it. Stupid mistake.
Stupid mistake. Stupid, stupid mistake. Hey, and this year has been, yes, this year has been very,
very trying. We've had a lot of good, a lot of bad, but we're still out here. We've had
some losses of family. Your mom, my mom, and dad. We've had some great additions.
Grandchildren. We've had new everything coming around. Additions. Graduating from high school.
Going on. Growing up. Just brightness, and we get to talk about it here. We get to ask,
and we got married. She finally said, I do.
But that's what this is about here. We get to talk about it, and we get to share it,
and even though he says he doesn't do it, but he finds a spot, but it makes us come here,
and we enjoy it. Like I'm not gonna lie. I was kind of like, God, coming here because of how far it was,
but now I want to come back. Yeah. It is. It's neat, and it's because of each one of y'all here
that I want to do it because we build that bond. Y'all become my second family, and then it doesn't
die when we leave tomorrow morning. We get texts. We get chats. We get videos, and now we've got
more videos, so the good thing about this, he started a small thing, and it has grown up,
and we kind of have become his children by following a little bit or just letting him
guide us and see how goofy it can be and how easy it can be, but you just got to go do it.
If you don't do it, it's not going to just come to you, and he's kind of showed me that,
and it just, and he hasn't said, hey, go get your butt out there and do it. Just go in saying,
sorry, if you can do it, I can do it, and I've had fun doing it, and I've met some great new
YouTube influencers, including ourselves and Monty, all of us. There's all here, so now y'all
got steps to what y'all need to do. Not only the OG status, but doing videos, but everything here
from all of us that come here. Thank you. I do know that pillow days will be the usual,
and Lake Whitney State Park, the day will be the 30th. Some people, which is that Saturday,
January the 30th, when we will be there. Some people will get there earlier,
and if you don't get there earlier, you're missing out, because you get to have
nights at the fireplace, yes, birthday parties for people, relaxing, trying some unique
liquid drinks, some unique foods, and hearing some really good stories. There's some bullshit too.
Yes, a lot of bullshit, a lot of bullshit, but it's what it's about, and we get to come here,
and we get to, for four days, or however, two days, three days, however you come,
go forget that and have this, and like he says, if you don't get out and see this,
shame on you very much. Shame on you. It's like you only live once. Go see it. Go enjoy it.
Tell people about it. Have fun, but that's what it's about, so y'all that showed up, the true one,
thank you. It's been an honor and a privilege, even though I'm just a little tough person.
It's fun to come have y'all here and enjoy this moment, coming here and making it a great
game. Now, we've got, when is the next, tiny days, tiny wood days on October the 10th,
but some people will be there starting from the 3rd on. I'm sure it'll be posted on the Facebook
page, all that stuff. Let's go do it. Don't forget, dillo days will be in the end of January,
and then windows open, so you can book, and it's open now. Start booking some of them.
They've already got us to start hooking up, um, site 28, site 28. Dude will be in site 28,
and then let's go around him. Let's populate to the left and right. Let's fill it up. Let's fill
the whole loop. Yep, let's fill it up there. Let's fill up the whole loop, full hookups,
30, 50, you name it. Bring your cold wood gear. Bring your heated water hose if you need it.
Just come have some fun. Bring firewood, and let's have some fun, and then we're talking about doing
in for, uh, for April, April Fool's Day. I'll be deciding that one, and we'll pick a day where
we'll go. That'll be announced soon, and be on the Facebook page, but once again, I want to thank
We already have the next buzzer days scheduled planned. Okay, so next buzzer days will be
Pat Mays West. Pat Mays West, the weekend before Labor Day. Labor Day weekend. We'll be out here.
That one is a COE park, so Corps of Engineers, so you can start it by Paris, Texas,
not by the casino. Lots of good fishing, and swimming, and kayaking, and a great experience
with this, so come join us. You've got many before that, so come join us. So I'm going to
get off my soapbox, and with that, I'm going to pass it off to our next host, Mr. Sonny.
Just so you know what the rules are and how to play it, it's pretty easy. You hear a song,
if you got it on your list, mark it off. If you get a column, diagonal, straight up and down,
side to side, call our SINGO, and then you get to go pick a prize. Pretty simple, right?
Prizes courtesy of DudeRB and Amazon. That's right. Got our SINGO board.
I got a file. It's on random. We're going to start it off to see who's got the first one.
Got a low battery. Got to talk quick. We're done here at Lost Maple State Park. Hope you found
this to be worthwhile, worth your time, worth watching. Boy, we sure have enjoyed our stay,
our time here. Buzzard days is come and gone. You should have been here. The weather turned
out to be not quite so bad, but about the park, I really, really enjoyed seeing the Lost Maple
Park. The trails were very good. If you're into mother nature and trees,
this is when you should come visit. With that being said, we're done. Thank you for watching.
