Texas State Parks Virtual Tour - Village Creek State Park

We really enjoyed our two day visit to Village Creek State Park thanks to having a very nice handicap friendly RV site. Village Creek State Park only has 27 RV sites and 30 or so walk in tent sites so plan ahead for your visit and make reservations! Check out this Texas State Parks Virtual Tour!
There are a number of hiking trails in Village Creek State Park but unfortunately none of them are handicap scooter friendly. The trails are mostly through the sandy bottom land and it was difficult for my scooter to get any traction.
Situated on the banks of Village Creek this Texas State Park is truly one of a kind! Village Creek runs through the heart of The Big Thicket National Preserve and Village Creek State Park is the only public RV campground in the area.
