Lake Somerville State Park and Trailway Texas State Parks

As I make my way down the list of Texas State Parks that offer RV camping I found myself spending a few wonderful nights camping at Lake Somerville State Park Birch Creek Unit.
Lake Somerville State Park is truly a fisherman's paradise! With several miles of shoreline of both open water and creek channels there is truly a place for everyone to fish!
If you are more into hiking or biking then Lake Somerville State Park must be on your list! This great Texas State Park features miles of great hiking trail and many of those trails are equestrian friendly as well!
