That was no little guy there.
After we see license trappers
hose the gator off and safely
relocated him today, we do hear
a lot of these gator stories,
but mostly they're like little ones.
Baby ones have just, you know,
come out of a pond somewhere.
Yeah, it's rare to get like a big
old six footer in your driveway.
I think we had a pretty good size one.
Do you remember that story here in Lake Mary?
It was trying to scale the door.
The front door you imagined and she would.
I mean, she was pretty calm.
No solicitors. Thank you very much.
You see the sign? No soliciting, please.
We've had enough this week.
Move along, head over to my neighbor.
Send him down the street.
I just can't believe it.
Like I still don't know what
I would do in the moment.
She said she's gonna call you.
You call me help me.
You and Eric get down here now.
There's a gator on the front porch.
Yeah, it's unbelievable.
Like we said yesterday,
it's like a zoo living here.
Sometimes sometimes it really is.
It feels like Australia.
Yeah, not even does the zoo.
Yes, I'm glad they were OK.
They were get that gator away and
relocated to somewhere safe.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
If anyone's getting out today,
doing anything outdoors,
trapping gators, trapping gators,
you know it's going to be.
I think a little drier.
Hannah has a whole compared to
what we saw yesterday.
Rain chances going to be around
30% around Orlando but a little
higher near our East Coast beaches
and we'll show you that here in a moment.
We are keeping tabs on a few showers
and thunderstorms off to our north
and west here across our Fox 51
locale still some pretty good rain
offshore of a Dixie County here.
This morning showers kind of fading
away though closer to Cedar Key.
Light to moderate rain there.
Working through Levy County,
closing in on the Marion County lines.
We'll watch that,
but overall dry,
bright to kick off our Sunday Funday.
We can see that from our launch
credit union camera.
Beautiful shot there in Titusville
as we're glancing eastbound
toward the Space Center to our north.
So if you take a look at the big picture,
there is a front that is starting
to drop closer to the coast.
Closer to us here in the sunshine state,
and that's actually going to bring up
our rain chances for our Labor Day.
Sadly, so if you have outdoor plans,
you may have to tweak those tomorrow.
There's also a weak boundary kind
of draped across the northern Gulf,
which is why we're seeing some of that
shower and storm activity here this morning.
If you're getting out to Magic Kingdom today,
probably still smart to bring the poncho,
bring the rain gear so could see a few
showers and thunderstorms this afternoon.
As temperatures climb back into
the lower 90s, certainly not a washout.
Bring the big jug of water too.
It's going to be a steamer out there.
Once again,
when you factor in that humidity
out of the beaches though,
rain chances a bit higher.
With the help of the sea breeze,
chances come up to about 50%
and that you be index.
You don't want to forget the sunscreen
because it is going to be high out there
with the wave heights around 1 to 2 feet.
And you can see for all of us today,
we're going to keep that potential,
at least for a few showers and thunderstorms.
Highs top out in the lower 90s
for the most part,
and then tonight will fall back
into the middle to upper 70s.
But with that front dropping in,
we'll hold on to that chance for.
A few late night showers and thunderstorms,
but then we'll see more numerous
storms around,
especially tomorrow afternoon
into the evening,
with highs a little cooler with the
help of the clouds and the moisture
topping out in the upper 80s and
lower 90s for our Labor Day.
So let's take you through time here
with our Fox weather model here.
Futurecast showing those isolated
showers and thunderstorms through
about 2 o'clock coming in with that
West flow across the state,
but then notice as we head through
7 o'clock through dinnertime,
most of the activity across our
eastern neighborhoods and that trend
kind of continues as they all work
eastbound through the remainder of
the evening and then tomorrow morning
on Labor Day that front is dropping
in and we start to see showers and
thunderstorms igniting once again.
Torrential rain,
some gusty wind potential tomorrow as well,
and the frequent lightning potential
also going to be a bit higher.
Now this front does look to kind of
be in the vicinity of us on Tuesday
with still some upstairs energy around,
so that means that our rain chance
is still stay a bit higher as we
head through the day on Tuesday,
and we are going to hold on to
that flooding potential as well.
It's a low end risk,
a marginal risk,
but you can still see a good
bit of the viewing area tomorrow.
Included in that,
especially for our northern neighborhoods.
Then on Tuesday,
everyone included across the Sunshine
State for that low end flooding potential.
Now our Fox 35 Storm Team 70 forecast
shows temperatures right around average.
Rain chance to stay a bit higher,
though 60% Tuesday and Wednesday.
Then they do start to see some
clouds start to come back down as
we tap into a bit more ridging.
In the atmosphere,
some drier air there with highs
back in the lower 90s.
