Welcome to TMZ Live.
So as we speak right now, the jury in the Lindsay Clancy
case has deliberated for 34 hours, still no verdict.
Deadlocked.
As far as we know, they are still deadlocked.
They've been back twice telling the judge
we can't agree unanimously.
The judge sent them back twice.
This will be the final time.
If they come back again, it's either going to be a verdict
or it's going to be a hung jury.
Well, if Congresswoman Nancy Mace were on that jury,
she would have no issue in coming up with a verdict.
She knows, at least in her mind, what the verdict should be.
We actually got her out in DC yesterday
and talked to her about the fact that the jury has been
deadlocked, that they cannot come to a unanimous decision.
And she thinks this is a very easy case.
What she doesn't understand is the crowds of people
that are out there supporting Lindsay Clancy.
Supporting her based on the idea of not guilty
by reason of postpartum psychosis,
which is essentially what they're saying.
Right.
Nancy Mace says that is ridiculous.
And then we posed a hypothetical to her,
and she jumped on this.
And it has to do with Lindsay Clancy being a black woman.
If you murder someone out of cold blood like that,
yeah, you're crazy.
You're insane.
You're mental.
But that doesn't mean everybody who's insane who murders
should walk free.
And she's going to walk free because of this pink mob.
I think it says a lot about our culture,
and it's a sad statement of where we are.
Do you think if she was black it would be a different situation?
Nobody would be supporting her if she were black.
No one would be supporting her if she was black?
No, liberal white women aren't going
to support a black woman who murdered her kids.
There was one in New York that did,
and just got away with it, who murdered her children
in New York.
You didn't see the same pink liberal.
Why wouldn't liberal white women support a black woman
in this exact situation?
I think that the left is inherently racist.
That's what I think.
But right-wing women would feel differently?
I don't think that right-wing women are racist.
So that is fascinating that, I mean,
it's odd because normally it's people on the left saying
that people on the right are racist
and that they wouldn't support a black woman.
You have Nancy Mace, who is very firmly on the right,
saying that it's the left.
It's the left.
So we put a poll up on social.
I think more than 30,000 people voted as of this morning.
Hey, what's the poll on the Nancy Mace story?
On Twitter, we have 90% say agree she would not,
and 10% say disagree, unfair to say.
So on Twitter, 90% of the people agreed with Nancy Mace?
Yes.
Wow.
90% of the people agreed with Nancy Mace.
That is shocking.
Yeah.
That is shocking.
I mean, we know what our polls are like
and what our audience is like on X,
and that is skewed way more than it normally is.
Yeah.
Way more than it normally is.
Well, one of our chatters was actually
saying that, on contrary of the point that she made,
that also, if it was a man, that they think he would
already be, this trial would be done,
that it would already be settled.
And they would be found guilty.
Yeah, and that nobody would be supporting him if it was a man.
Well, because a man doesn't get postpartum psychosis.
But it could be some other mental health issue.
Yeah, but that's like the same by the way.
This is specific to women.
I mean, this is specific to women.
OK, let's bring a woman in.
Yes, indeed.
Someone who has been covering the Lindsay Clancy
case from the start, and I'm sure
has been sitting there waiting for the jury to come back,
Ashley Banfield, our good friend.
Welcome back to TMZ Live, Ashley.
What do you think about this hypothetical?
Well, first of all, I don't know the racial makeup on the jury,
so I don't want to weigh in on that, because that does matter.
And also, I see this case way more
as a referendum on mental health than on race.
And everybody has their opinions,
and it gets politicized.
It goes all the way to Capitol Hill, of course.
But I think the one thing, guys, if I can just highlight this,
the country is talking about postpartum depression
and psychosis for the first time as a large group.
And I know the Andrea Yates case had us dabbling in it,
but this has us full on in it and understanding it.
And for that reason, I think if this comes back as a hung jury,
I'm not so sure these prosecutors are
going to want to retry it, because if it's
this hard on round one, it's going
to be way harder on round two.
Well, except what they could do, Ashley,
is they could reduce the number of options.
Instead of having five options, they literally
could have two options.
And if they really want to go for murder,
and then the defense says not guilty by reason of insanity,
then it becomes either or.
When you have five, I never saw this jury coming together.
There are just too many available.
And we don't know what the split is,
but when you have an issue that's cultural
and that is real to so many people,
and they see it so differently, I
don't see, when you give them five options,
that you're going to get 12 agreeing to anything.
Well, the funny thing is, I thought the middle option would
have been the agreement.
Manslaughter.
Yeah, yeah, they were so polar, you know,
opposed in a polar way, they had that compromise in the middle.
And by the way, they were given, weird here, Harvey, as a lawyer,
I think you're going to agree with me, weird that the judge
gave them the punishments.
So they know what happens to her with their decision, which
they're not supposed to.
In most jurisdictions, they don't do that.
They don't let people know what their decision would yield,
because it will affect their decision.
But I also think, honestly, that because they haven't
asked for any readbacks or really much evidence at all,
I think this is a moral schism and not a legal schism.
And that's why when you get 12 people together,
the idea that it's so rooted in their morality,
it's going to be everyone's individual,
whatever they're coming with when they walk
into the deliberation room, that certainly
colors their decision.
And I didn't mean to say colors.
Because I want to go back to, because I think you're right.
Like, people really are talking about postpartum.
And I think maybe for a lot of people,
learning that it actually is a very real issue
for a lot of people.
So with that knowledge, I think the hypothetical about what
if Lindsay Clancy were black is interesting.
Because what I think Nancy Mace, and by the way,
most of the people voting on our social media, what they're
saying is that, yes, it's a real thing,
but they wouldn't view it as a viable reason
if she were black.
That they would just say, oh, this
is someone who can't handle having three kids,
and she lost it and killed them.
And they wouldn't accept that as a viable excuse,
as clearly a lot of people are for Lindsay Clancy.
I've got to be honest with you, I think it would really,
again, I always come back to this,
it would depend on the demographic makeup of the jury.
I think that's so critical in all of this.
And Charles, you know, and I know, and Harvey knows,
and everyone who follows true crime,
you know that you're not allowed to use race
in your peremptory challenges.
So if this were to go to another jury at some point,
if there were a retrial, just know full well
that no one is allowed to choose jurors
because of the color of their skin,
white or black or anything in between.
And whether that factors in here, I don't know.
Well, but I gotta say, I think Nancy Mace
was talking even more about what was going on
outside the courtroom than inside.
Yeah.
But she was talking about all the women
who are like supporting Lindsay Clancy,
you know, trying to really explain this notion
of postpartum psychosis, that she's saying
that that would evaporate if it was a black defendant,
that the people outside would be no-shows.
Well, it's funny you should say that,
because I actually was thinking about the effect
on the jury, you know, driving by the sea of pink.
Yeah, yeah.
And it reminded me in Minnesota of the effect on the jury
of them driving by the sea of I can't breathe,
George Floyd supporters.
And so it's sort of the same thing,
and it's kind of tragic if you think of it,
that you only get the supporters on your color side,
if you're a defendant.
Understand what Nancy Mace is saying.
I think, I keep coming back to the referendum
on mental health here, because I really do believe
that that is what they're fighting over.
Nancy makes her point, I get it,
and a lot of people are weighing in, and I get it.
But I really, truly do believe that the schism here
is that they are debating the culpability
and whether anybody can really rise
to that sort of a defense.
Okay, okay, but last thing though,
what you said at the beginning.
So you think if they come back hung and it's a mistrial,
I mean, you think that their prosecutors
are gonna throw in the towel?
Because, I mean, this is a political issue
as much as anything, and you've got a lot of people.
I get it, I know what you're saying, I get it.
But I do wanna say, throwing in the towel
means many different things to many different people.
I think what's gonna happen, and Harvey,
you've seen this because, again, you're a lawyer,
you know when they get a result, like a hung jury,
oftentimes there's a private meeting back with the jurors,
either in chambers or in the jury room.
They'll know what the division is.
They get to know, we may not get to know.
We have known in the past in some jurisdictions,
some jurisdictions keep it secret.
But the lawyers will often get a chance to know,
where's the breakdown, where did you guys fall apart?
Are you 11 to one, are you 10 to two, are you six to six?
That is gonna factor into this prosecution team's decision
as to whether they have a shot going forward
with this much more attention to postpartum psychosis.
Because they came in tabula rasa almost, right?
Not a lot of people remember a quarter century ago
in the Andrea Yates case.
I sure did, it broke when I was on the air.
Now a lot more people do, and it could be tougher
for them to get over that hump.
Yeah, we will see.
Well, the other thing too is they're gonna wanna see
what the division is in terms of men versus women
in the jury, that it will give the prosecution.
And they'll carry that information.
That's right, that's right.
But Harvey, you know you're not allowed to choose
according to race or sex, one of those orientations
when you're doing forensics.
And Ashley, as somebody who's covered so many trials,
you know lawyers have clever, crafty ways
of getting around that, where they say,
oh, it's not about that.
Yes, and I've seen them caught, red-handed.
Okay, that's fair, that's fair.
They were putting B and W beside the forensic charges.
I was like, no.
Okay, well, that's just stupid.
Yeah.
Yeah, they got caught.
We're getting ahead of ourselves.
We'll see if it comes to that.
But it is gonna be interesting.
Oh, can I tell you one more thing, guys?
Can I tell you one more thing?
This is super critical, and I know that true crime watchers
will remember this from Karen Reed's mistrial and retrial.
Do you remember when the jury came back
in Karen Reed's mistrial?
And for whatever reason, the prosecution and the defense
decided not to do something called polling the jurors.
Most people think it's kind of a stupid thing.
They ask, judge on the record,
can I just go over each individual panel member
and ask if this is their true verdict?
Juror number one, is this your true verdict?
Juror number two, is this your true verdict?
And it goes on and on.
And they didn't do it, so they didn't put it on the record.
And guess what happened?
They had actually unanimously agreed
on the top charge against Karen Reed as not guilty.
And that would have constituted-
No, you're right.
Karen Reed wouldn't have been retried.
No, you're totally right.
Totally, totally, totally right.
Hey, we were talking about that, like why didn't they?
It surprised me that that wasn't end of case on appeal,
but we'll see.
Great having you on, Ashley.
Love seeing you guys.
All right, take care.
Coming up, when you are the number one
female tennis player in the world,
and you're playing in the US Open,
and you've just had a dominant performance,
the last thing you want to talk about
is your partying.
You guys are like a joke.
Be right back.
When you are the number one tennis player in the world,
female tennis player in the world,
and you're playing in the US Open,
and you've just had a dominant performance,
the last thing you want to talk about is your partying.
Really?
Apparently.
Because I would think that's not the case.
Irina Savalenka last night played in the US Open.
She won handily over her opponent.
In two sets.
And then she sat down to talk to the media.
And.
This is great.
A reporter asked her,
well, you gotta listen to how he asked it,
but basically he's saying,
I saw some pictures of you last week
before the Open started,
and you were in New York City,
and you're having a good time.
Which seems innocent enough.
Oh my.
But not to her.
But she lit into it.
How are you finding your mood
once now that the tournament has started?
Obviously last week,
it's lots of parties and fun and stuff like that.
Are you not partying?
You guys are like a joke.
Party is fun.
Like, why would you even say that?
Why would you even think about that?
Like, what kind of question is that?
Like, just because I posted like some activities
with brands, and you think that I've been fighting,
not training?
I'm not suggesting that you're partying.
No, like, look at the question.
Like, what is that?
I'm saying that there are a lot of events
and things like that.
I'm not saying you go to the parties,
and that you're-
You literally said that.
Excuse me?
For everyone, now that the tournament's started,
do you find you're getting quite serious and combative?
Oh yeah, I wasn't serious before that.
Next question.
Wow.
By the way, he tried one more,
like the next reporter started,
he tried to say something,
she's like, no, you're done.
And she cut him off.
But it's like, so what if they partied?
I don't think-
No, I mean, it's like, she won.
So it's a-
He worded it very poorly.
No, he didn't.
Yes, he did.
What he meant to say was-
If he says, hey, I saw pictures of you,
looked like you were having a good time,
looked like you may have even been partying,
she's like, yeah, and I won today too,
with no problem.
I agree with you.
With no problem.
That's a totally legitimate question.
Like, you're partying to get in the mode
to play tennis at the biggest tournament
in the country?
She's so soft for this.
All the time.
This is crazy.
Listen, it's the week before the tournament.
All tennis players are in New York City
and they're going to different events, right?
So what's the problem?
But nobody accused her of doing anything bad.
What he meant, yeah.
He didn't accuse her of doing anything bad though, Charles.
Going to a party is not bad.
Right.
She's got a guilty conscience.
Yeah, and she's like, oh, no, no.
It was-
I was going to brands.
He should've started with a positive.
He should've started saying-
You were so dominant tonight.
Why are kid gloves on?
You gotta suck up to these-
Okay, here's how to suck up.
You are so awesome.
I saw you partying last week
and you won with no problem today.
Right, there you go.
Which is essentially what he said.
You almost had it.
You gotta say, you were so dominant.
God, you were awesome tonight.
Is she that fragile?
You really turned it on after-
Is her ego that fragile?
She's the number one player in the world.
No, he's right.
He's right.
She's the number one player in the world.
She won with no problem.
She was able to go out the nights before
and she's present.
Right.
That's great on her.
That's a flex.
Great.
That's a flex.
She's looking at this all wrong.
What was that?
It's when you're number one.
We've seen-
How old is she?
Irina Stavlenko is-
Not that old.
Is she Gen Z?
She's young.
No, no.
28.
Dang it.
Is that creeping into millennial?
No, she's definitely millennial.
That's like elder millennial.
But she might be-
That's like elder Gen Z.
Sub-millennial.
She's between millennial.
Okay, now I get it.
Yeah.
Now I get it.
Oh gosh.
To be fair, everybody agrees with you guys.
No doubt.
They're saying that question wasn't bad.
Well, you guys don't agree.
No.
Oh, well I'm saying-
Everybody agrees with which guy?
With you guys.
The chat's saying that the question wasn't even bad.
These athletes get paid so much
they should respect the media more.
Well, they're never gonna respect.
They're never gonna-
That's not gonna happen.
Yeah.
Hey guys.
I'm Joy Daly calling from New York.
And I think that Irina was in a mood
when she did this interview
because the guy said nothing wrong.
I agree with you all a hundred percent.
And for her to respond so combatively,
you would've thought she was on a tennis court
battling an opponent.
The way that she came at this guy,
it was just completely,
I was shocked.
And I think that she needs to relax.
I think she might need to party some more.
Okay.
Or maybe she really was partying really hard
and she didn't want that brought up.
I totally agree with you.
This is your big moment.
10 seconds, play something.
10 seconds.
Play something.
No, play something.
Turn around.
You got a piano there.
Play, okay, play something.
Oh, all right.
All right, Joy.
Let's hear it.
No, hit it.
We want to hear.
We could hear a little bit.
We could hear a little bit of it,
but give us a little more.
Yeah, her mic's,
I heard the beginning of it.
What's that song?
Da, da, da, da, da, da, da, da.
The Flatterleys?
Ah, the mic didn't work, Lord.
We could've made you a star.
Please, look at her outfit.
She's a star already.
Diddy is putting in work.
He is putting in some good work,
as a matter of fact, at Fort Dix in New Jersey,
because his release date from the federal prison
has been moved up again.
He is now scheduled-
This happens every week.
It was, well, a couple of weeks ago,
it was set at February 20th, 2028,
and now it has moved up to February 5th.
So why they knocked off another two weeks?
It sounds like he's-
Because he's taking classes.
He's taking his classes.
He's showing up for them, clearly.
And, I mean, I don't know if they get grades,
but whatever he's doing, he's impressing the board.
And they're saying, yeah, all right,
we'll move his, the Bureau of Prison's saying,
we'll move it up.
So we had a big argument in our newsroom today
at a morning meeting,
that he seems to be moving things up
to where he might get out even at the end of 2027,
in which case, if Diddy threw a New Year's Eve party,
which is a freedom party for him,
would celebrities show?
I had a very strong feeling about this.
I think absolutely not.
I think he, when he gets released eventually,
if it's New Year's Eve and throws a big white party,
he's radioactive initially.
I just don't see any sort of mainstream celebrity,
a Beyonce, a Jay-Z, people like that.
Well, it may not be Beyonce, but-
But if it's Kanye, does he want a Kanye there?
Well, it may not be Kanye either,
and there's something in the middle there.
Who would you say?
I mean, there's something between Kanye and Beyonce.
There's some middle ground, yeah.
James Jay-Z.
Well, no, no, no, no.
Well, you know what I'm saying.
If he throws a tame party, maybe.
If he throws a nice, non-freak-off-
But the white parties were tame parties.
It was the after party.
That's true.
Yeah.
Yes, there will be some celebrities that show up.
There are some celebrities
who are very vocally supporting him at this point.
That's right.
But most of them are not, how do I say,
not A-list caliber.
Not mainstream, yeah.
Could he, if he threw the party,
would it be looked at poorly,
or would it be looked at as he's done his time?
Listen, look, he's serving just a Man Act conviction,
so I think it's more than enough time
for those kind of convictions.
I'm saying we're going to get an answer to this eventually,
those of us who are still around.
We'll get an answer to that.
Because-
Whoa, it's 2027, man!
Even if he doesn't get out in time for New Year's,
he is going to be out before the Super Bowl.
And you're going to tell me
that Diddy's not going to take the opportunity
to celebrate, to have a party when he first gets out?
And then you know who can go,
Antonio Brown can go.
He would be a guy who could be at a Diddy party.
Okay, I'm saying, again,
there is a middle ground here.
We'll see.
Coming up.
Well, someone is in big trouble with Congress
related to the Epstein files.
We got Congresswoman Anna Luna in D.C.
and she broke some big news to us.
She says they've got someone for lying.
But not necessarily for what you think.
Be right back.
TMZ's got every freaky thing.
Big celebs, big stories, big events.
Donald Rawlings took TMZ D.C. on a city tour.
You know what the irony of this is?
A black man takes a white person to the White House.
It's TMZ!
Well, someone is in big trouble with Congress
related to the Epstein files.
As everyone is wondering if anyone
is going to be held responsible,
any of the people around Jeffrey Epstein
held responsible for what was going on in his world.
We got Congresswoman Anna Luna today in D.C.
and she broke some big news to us
about this, about what's been going on,
about the depositions, about the people
who have been coming to testify before the House.
And she says they've got someone for lying.
But not necessarily for what you think.
Today there was supposed to be a deposition for Leon Black.
Leon Black was actually someone that was listed
that we wanted to interview specifically
pertaining to the Jeffrey Epstein files
and he defied a subpoena.
And so that then starts and kickstarts
usually a contempt of Congress proceeding.
There is going to be, at least right now
we for sure have one criminal referral
aside from the defiance to come in and testify
for a woman that perjured herself in testimony to us.
And so there's just going to be a lot of
prosecutions. So someone lied
during the Epstein?
Yeah, during deposition.
Has that been revealed yet?
No.
No, okay.
Well interest, I mean that sounds like a big deal.
Yeah it is, and so the referrals for that
the teams have to make sure it's locked
but we are referring that.
That's going to happen.
There will be prosecution for that.
Prosecution for the woman who perjured?
Yeah.
What did she say?
Well, you'll see that.
Well that's, I gotta say
that's kind of a stunning revelation.
So the question is, who is this woman
who testified and this was a deposition.
So we don't know whether this was something
that was made public already.
Right.
That was never made public.
Is this somebody who was a witness?
Is it an alleged victim?
And you really want to know what that lie was.
Boy.
And you want to know what the lie was.
What was the lie?
And by the way, if it is an alleged victim
that's an interesting thing for.
It's interesting to look for the house, right?
My gut is no.
For DOJ to prosecute an alleged victim.
My gut is no.
Probably isn't.
Yeah.
I mean, they could not take that heat.
Right, if that's the first person
that they actually prosecute.
It can't be, but it's gotta be.
And we don't know again,
because there were depositions taken
that were not necessarily made public.
But what she said was,
she's saying the Justice Department
is going to prosecute this.
So it's not.
So they've already had discussions about this.
They've already had discussions.
What happens is Congress refers,
then the Justice Department evaluates
and then they make a decision.
But based on what Luna is saying,
they've already had the discussion
and they've gotten some assurance
that they're gonna prosecute this woman.
So who is this woman?
And what did she testify to?
And what is the lie?
Hey, JD Milo, Phoenix, Arizona.
Yeah, I think a lot of this sounds good on paper, right?
But I believe the American people
and people globally have lost a lot of trust
when it comes to anything Epstein.
Yes, anybody who lies in a deposition
absolutely should be criminally prosecuted.
Anybody who misses a deposition,
especially someone like Leon Black,
who's not only named in the files thousands of times,
but there's actually survivors who name him
as someone who abused them specifically.
So I think it's just time to really get down to business
and stop the sideshow.
Well, you see, you seem to know a lot about this.
Who is this woman?
So they don't name her.
If I had to guess, Harvey-
No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Yeah.
I mean, you asked him to guess,
and then I realized, no, I don't want him guessing.
Okay, okay.
Because-
To be continued.
Coming up, we got Glenn Powell.
Glenn asked him about some photos
that he had recently posted.
He, as they put it, went Instagram official,
and very clearly, they're close.
But how serious are they?
Glenn almost seems offended at our question.
No, it's not.
It's never nerve-wracking if you believe it.
Be right back.
Welcome back to TMZ Live.
Glenn Powell, easily one of the more-
Eligible bachelors.
Well, I guess he's not eligible,
because he's been dating Michelle Randolph,
who is one of the stars of Landman, for quite a while.
But it hasn't sealed the deal.
So yeah, definitely eligible bachelor,
even if Michelle would take umbrage with that.
But what's interesting is we got Glenn out in New York City.
And we should say, the backdrop is,
when you ask a star about who they're dating
and how serious, they almost never answer.
They almost never want to.
In fact, there have been cases in the past
where we have asked someone
while their significant other was there,
and it led to them splitting up.
So we got Glenn.
Michelle was not there.
But we got Glenn and asked him about some photos
that he had recently posted.
He, as they put it, went Instagram official with Michelle,
posting a bunch of photos of them at a party,
big party he had with friends.
And very clearly, they're close.
But how serious are they?
Glenn almost seems offended at our question
about whether or not he's serious.
Mr. Powell, how are you?
So we gotta ask you,
is it always nerve-wracking going, you know, IG official?
It's kind of like telling the world,
hey, hey, hey, say something.
No, it's not.
It's never nerve-wracking if you believe it.
Oh, I love that.
So this looks like it's, you know, pretty serious.
Can we see maybe an engagement next year or something like that?
He said it's very serious.
Wow. I'd say it's very serious.
Oh, my gosh. The way he responded to that
made me think he already has the ring.
Like, that was really serious.
From Glenn Powell, the guy that every girl wanted to get with.
He may have already proposed.
Yeah. Yeah.
See? He's on my side.
It's very serious.
But if you're saying it's very serious
and you haven't done it,
it's like you don't necessarily want to let the cat out of the bag.
Right. He could have done it.
No, I mean, the way he said it,
he kind of laughed and said, it's very serious.
What does that mean?
I mean, that's very serious about her.
I think there's something like else there for sure
that we don't know.
And by the way, they haven't even been...
They probably got two kids already.
We don't know.
But that's not what we're saying.
That's not what we're saying.
But that was a mocking.
It is very serious.
That's not like, hey, yeah, I'm thinking of proposing.
Right.
That could be...
And why does it have to be proposing?
How about he's just...
They have a very serious relationship
and they're committed to each other.
Maybe they don't even believe in marriage.
Why do they have to go your traditional route?
They don't.
But there's something about the way he responded
that's different.
I'm not saying he would be wrong to.
I mean, Michelle...
She's gorgeous.
They make a great couple.
And by the way, they're going to have their one year
anniversary coming up in a couple of months, too.
So now's the time.
Who gets together for a year?
Come on.
And Ariana Grande could have gone through five people
in that period of time.
Very good point.
That is a very good point.
I absolutely love to see two hot people together.
I mean, if I bagged Michelle Randolph,
I would be bragging to the rooftops as well.
She is an absolute baddie.
But it's very masculine to see a man just claim his woman.
You know what I mean?
Especially in this day and age of sneaky links.
So I'm very happy for them.
And I think that they are a couple
that you should be keeping your eyes on this holiday season.
OK, who's going to get married first?
Scooter and Sidney or Glenn and Michelle?
Michelle.
Oh, I don't believe in Scooter and Sidney.
I just don't see that relationship
panning out respectfully.
But Glenn and Michelle, they seem
to be in it for the long haul.
So I would have my eyes on them for sure.
OK.
You should watch Landman.
Tale of Frankie Paul, back on Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
And her bachelorette gig, well, there's
something that she let out on Secret Lives
that makes it pretty clear it's not ever going to air.
They just released a trailer for the upcoming season
of Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.
And here's what Frankie said.
So you had sex in Fantasy Suites.
Was there a part of you that was like, he looks like Dick
I didn't start doing that until people said it around me.
I actually did not see the night I met him at all.
They have the same initials?
Yeah, they're both from Idaho.
It's so weird.
See, I didn't learn all that till later.
And yes, he did get down on one knee and proposed.
Which I was shocked.
He told us he wasn't going to.
He told me to.
We weren't planning on doing that.
And did you say yes?
Yes.
Yes, yes, yes, I did.
Then I come home.
Mm-hmm.
And then?
And then what?
Obviously, we're texting.
When are you coming home?
When are you going to be home?
Dakota.
Yes.
I don't know how it led to it, but he came over.
Taylor, come on.
I think I know how that happened.
Come over.
So a bunch of things.
Number one, bachelorettes are not coming back.
She spoiled it and said, yeah, he proposed and everything else.
She has an NDA with the same company that produces
Secret Lives, produces The Bachelorette.
They wouldn't allow that on the show if they were going to air
a bachelorette.
So they've clearly done that.
What I'm trying to figure out is, what is she saying?
So the guy proposed.
Then they had to go home because they had done the taping.
Is she with the guy?
Is she getting married to the guy?
You understood what she said, right?
Alexa, break it down.
I need to translate what happened.
Well, kind of interesting that she is kind of revealing
the guy that she ended up being, this Doug Mason guy.
But according to some extensive Instagram digging
that I've done on Doug's profile,
they do seem to be still talking.
But that Dakota and Taylor continued their relationship
afterwards.
What you heard her saying is that when she came home,
Dakota suddenly came over and she hooked up with Dakota.
Well, no, no, no.
I got that.
Of course, Doug wouldn't have known that at the time.
But that also goes back and forth a million times.
That doesn't mean.
Yeah, but you think Doug wants to be with her?
She's still not with Dakota?
You're asking me if there is some rational basis
for the relationships that Taylor Frankie
Ball has that go back and forth and get
criminal and then non-criminal?
That's with Dakota.
But Doug didn't sign on for that.
You think Doug's cool with that?
I don't know Doug from Adam.
Who's Adam?
Doug.
I don't know a Doug.
I don't know who Doug is.
I mean, other than he's on the band.
Who's Doug?
No, but if he.
We'll never know.
And we don't know him because we didn't
get to see him on the show.
He's got to be the next Bachelor.
Can't count out what?
Dakota or Doug?
Doug.
You can't count out the fact that if Doug proposed to her,
that it's over, especially if what you said,
they're still communicating.
For sure.
Because usually, if you break off the engagement,
you're not going to keep talking.
Yeah, but they were talking for so long.
But now he's just seen that when she came home,
as soon as she came home and got him, she hooked up with Dakota.
He may not have a problem with that.
Seems like he doesn't.
Welcome to 2020 reality show.
Coming up.
Brian Mast is a double amputee.
A veteran.
Charlie wanted to know about the challenges at TSA
and also if there are benefits.
I am constantly, let's say, scanned by many hands.
Be right back.
So Charlie got Congressman Brian Mast out in DC.
I believe they were at Reagan National Airport.
Brian Mast is a double amputee.
A veteran.
And a veteran.
And Charlie decided to ask him.
I mean, by the way, he almost never wears pants.
I mean, he wears shorts all the time.
So it is front and center that he's a double amputee.
Charlie wanted to know about the challenges at TSA
and also if there are benefits.
Could I just ask, what sort of trouble
do you have getting through TSA with these bad boys down there?
Yes, I am constantly, let's say, scanned by many hands.
So number one, I'll go through.
I'll walk through the, not the metal detector,
but the sniffer machine that sniffs you.
I can't go through the metal detector
because obviously I would set it off.
And then sometimes they'll take a wand and want to wand me.
But clearly I'm half metal.
So it doesn't exactly make sense to do that.
But then they'll have to pat me down.
Usually have to go around my belt loop,
do an explosive trace detection on my prosthetics
from top to bottom.
Like every time, even though you're a congressman,
like you got the pin there and everything.
No, it doesn't matter.
They run you through everything.
Yep, absolutely.
Wow, that's amazing.
Yeah, that's it.
What are the benefits of this?
Do you find any benefits?
Yeah, my feet don't get cold.
That's good.
So that's a really good thing.
Other advantages, I wear, you know,
I call them chutes and shucks, so short suits and short tux.
But the truth of the matter is, I guess they're pants
because they just end where my limb ends.
He's a cool guy.
I mean, that was just an interesting conversation.
And we've seen him,
there was another time Charlie got him on the hill
and he was actually talking to a bunch of school kids
who were visiting the hill.
And they were asking questions about his prosthetics
and he's happy to address it.
I mean, it really is, he's so open.
And, you know, it's just to see somebody, you know,
who is in a position like his,
and there are other members of Congress
who are also amputees.
But I think it actually is a,
it's an uplifting thing for a lot of people
who are facing challenges.
Don't you think he kind of does that on purpose?
Yes.
Wearing the shorts and not wearing, you know,
the pants or the suit pants and whatever.
But I mean, it puts it into perspective
because I mean, I complain all the time
that you can't have like the big toothpaste
going through TSA.
Yeah, exactly.
You know, different things like that.
Maybe now you shut up about that.
Yeah, so now it makes-
He won't, he won't.
No, I won't, but yeah.
Nina is here, obviously you're a very popular streamer.
You're here with your crew.
Oh, not at all.
You've got balls to ride.
All right, so you're gonna be doing some PA duties, right?
Yes, yes, coffees, you know.
Oh, you're gonna really do it?
Oh yeah, you want coffee?
Do you want coffee?
She's got coffee right now.
I'm very particular.
Be right back.
Hi there, I'm Harvey.
Nice to meet you, Harvey.
Wow, this is my childhood come true right now.
Wow.
Nice to meet you.
I feel like a Make-A-Wish kid.
Oh my God.
Okay, let's hope it's not that.
Yeah, let's, we got some topics today.
Okay, Nina is here.
Obviously you're a very popular streamer.
You're here with your crew.
Oh, not at all.
You've got balls to ride.
You're streaming right now?
We're live, so live, meet live.
Guess what, we're live.
What's good?
Paramount, lock in, come on.
Fourth day on the job.
You are here, you're gonna get a look at behind the scenes,
what it's like to work as a PA here at TMZ Live.
This is crazy,
because we're essentially doing the same thing,
but you guys go crazy with the setup.
Well, did you see what's going on
with the Lindsay Clancy case?
We're just going back and forth,
so the verdict may be coming in or no verdict.
But so we're dealing with that.
Good luck on Lindsay, yeah.
Well, I don't know.
Oh God.
No, we shouldn't.
No, we shouldn't get into it, yeah, yeah, yeah.
All right, so you're gonna be doing some PA duties, right?
Yes, yes, coffees, you know.
Oh, you're gonna really do it?
Oh, yeah, you want coffee?
Do you want coffee?
She's got coffee right now.
I'm very particular.
She's gonna do a run for us.
Yeah, yeah, a couple of runs.
Really?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
You want like chips, cookies, muffins?
We have that stuff here.
Okay, wow.
But no, you're also gonna be, you know,
you'll see, go back to the TMZ Live.
Oh, I get it, it's kind of a day in the life here.
This is, this is.
Well, no, because honestly,
you're kind of here right at a moment
when there's a lot of activity.
Yeah, I know, I see it, it's crazy.
We, yeah, we're trying to figure out
exactly what's going on with this, right?
Which is a huge thing.
Right.
And so you can see everybody kind of scrambling
and whatnot.
So you see that room over there?
Yes.
Right now, they are feeding out to all of our stations.
The show.
The top of the show.
The show started feeding 10 minutes ago.
So we're actually on the clock here.
So we're on TV.
We're like a hamster, because we're.
Yes, we're on TV right now.
Yeah, well, the beginning of the show is.
Sort of, it's very complicated.
I see, I see.
I watch you guys all the time.
So I gotta ask you something.
I wanna know about Ariana Grande,
because, let me tell you why.
She falls in love too fast.
Oh, God.
She makes mistakes because she does that.
She is repeating what Jennifer Lopez has done.
Oh, you call them mistakes?
So what do you think?
Why don't you call them life and spirit?
No, but, yeah, I'm.
Okay, that's a good take on it.
Is this crazy or not?
Now she's saying this, Ricky Alvarez
is the love of her life.
She said that about SpongeBob.
Oh, she did?
Yeah.
Oh, wow, W. SpongeBob.
His name is Ethan Slater.
Okay.
Oh, Ethan Slater.
Okay, yeah, no.
So apparently, she used to make songs about Ricky.
You know how we hear them here and there?
Right, but she changed the lyrics.
But now she's back.
Right, and changed the lyrics.
Now he's the last one.
Thank you, next.
And welcome back.
I think you need to have a talk with her.
No, no, but I'm actually really serious.
Okay.
I don't know people her age,
but, I mean, I know people her age,
but I don't know what's in their heads,
but this is nuts.
She is chasing love in a way that is way too fast.
Too fast.
She agrees with me.
No, she just agreed with me.
But I probably shouldn't agree with you,
because PR reasons.
But you know what it is?
You know what it is?
Life experiences.
I agree with that.
Life experiences.
You only get to live once.
Exactly.
I know, but why do you want to fail
over and over and over again,
rather than taking your time,
and then, no, I'm actually serious.
Are you like a tiger dad?
Yeah.
Are you like a tiger mom?
Yeah, I can tell.
You're like, do your homework right now.
Bob, beat your face into the computer.
Yeah, yeah.
But, though, you need that.
You need that, though.
Thankfully, he doesn't actually have any children,
because that would be bad.
But it's a good take.
All right, so Nina, here's the thing.
When you go on the coffee run,
it'll be a lot, a lot of beverages.
You know that if you spill one, you buy one.
Do I gotta buy it?
No, no, you're not buying it.
We're gonna pay, we're gonna pay.
No, you spill it.
Oh, thank God, okay.
But if you break it, you buy it.
Oh, yeah.
It's the same thing.
You break and buy.
Oh, don't spill.
Okay, but can I get a cup, too?
We'll get you a cup.
Okay, okay, fine.
We're good that way.
All right.
We're good that way.
Can I get a jalapeno chicken wrap, too?
All right, hold on.
Okay, no, I'm sorry.
I just really, I didn't eat breakfast.
I also came in.
Oh, God.
I didn't eat breakfast this morning.
All right, good.
You guys are partying.
Deadass, no, for real.
Celsius before water.
Good luck, good luck.
It is really nice to meet the bathroom, too.
Don't screw up the coffee run.
Oh, I won't, I won't.
Coming up.
Lewis Hamilton getting ready for the Grand Prix this weekend.
F1 is in Italy in Monza.
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
It is early September.
What the heck's he wearing?
Be right back.
Well, Lewis Hamilton getting ready
for the Grand Prix this weekend.
F1 is in Italy in Monza.
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
It is early September.
What the heck's he wearing?
Yeah, he's, it's very hot.
It's very hot right now in Italy.
It's in the 90s.
Oh, I know what this is.
You know, it's Ferrari and.
No, it's not Ferrari.
It's Kim.
You think Kim dressed him?
It's Kim.
Well, no sign of Kim yet.
But yeah, everyone says that outfit,
that it's not gonna work in that kind of weather.
But again, he drives for Ferrari.
They're in Italy.
He's gotta wear fine Italian clothing.
And he's racing, right?
Yes.
Oh yeah, is Kim there?
Not in that car.
Is Kim there?
I don't know.
I would hope she's gonna be there
because this is a big race for Ferrari.
This is the one like they, every year,
like we've gotta win this race.
It's basically like their home turf.
Right.
So I would think that Kim would be there.
But you're right, she may be behind that outfit.
I think she is absolutely behind it.
We will see you tomorrow.
