'Lowrider Supershow' comes home to L.A.

You want to check it out because we are showing you what's in store at the L.A. Convention Center. That is insane. I want to do this. I've never done this. Okay, L.A. Convention Center is the place to be this weekend, not just the front of our parking here. The Los Angeles Road Riders Super Show happening tomorrow. Sandra, are you okay? Are you intact? Carlos Fernandez, you're the president of LOWRIDER Magazine and Carlos Jimenez, you are the vice president of LOWRIDER Magazine. Sandra's okay. That was exciting. You lost an eyelash. Oh my gosh, I got a little in the back. Don't worry about it. This is so cool. How awesome is this to be doing this after more than 20 years, you guys? Yeah, it's amazing. Obviously, we haven't been in L.A. as a super show. We got our super show that's happening this weekend, September 5th at the Los Angeles Convention Center. One of the biggest things that we're doing is coming back, bringing back the magazine. Have not been in print for over 19 years, so we're coming back. We're going to push it out there. The show is the place to be this weekend. And L.A. is the place to be for LOWRIDER because it's the culture. It's where it's at. Look at this. I love the classic Impala with the original color, right? And you learn so much more about the history and the dynamics of the LOWRIDER culture, and that's what you guys are bringing it all back for, right? Absolutely. Tell us about that and what we're seeing. We've got a lot of history that we get to stand on. We're trying to continue to honor that history in the past, become the bridge, and then usher in the new generation. So it's 49 years of LOWRIDER Magazine history. So we've got the IP now. Six months ago, we purchased it. Now we're in a position to make sure that it lasts for another 50 years. So next year is our 50th anniversary. So what can people expect this time around? Brand new. Brand new blood flow of just people, vision. We're going to change it up a little bit. We got to switch it up a little bit. We can't do things we've been doing the last 50 years, but we're going to honor the past and we're going to usher in the new. What is this new? This is new because I have not hopped for some details, but this is an actual hopper. This is hopper from Rancho Milde. We'll bring in to give you a little bit of information on it. I'm ready to go again now that I know and it's not easy to get in. The detail is okay. I was going to say the detail. I love all the detail. It's so beautiful. And look at that. And look at the other car too, as well. I mean, the details again, incredible how meticulous these lowriders are kept. Look at the artwork here. This is what? Half a million dollars? Yeah, it's a half a million dollar car. This one belongs to Jimmy Humilde and he did a tribute to the late singer, Chalino Sanchez, a famous Mexican singer. He did everything. Chalino used to always rock ostrich skin, so he did the whole interior ostrich skin. No wonder it's half a million dollars. Yeah, something different. Nobody's done it in a while. Yeah, so this is a tribute to Chalino Sanchez and this car gets a lot of attention. Speaking of details, look at the pictures on the side there. Even all this right here is part of the music, all the works to the music. These are really works of art because all the owners spend so much time, money, and effort to make sure every detail is just precise, pristine, and again, a work of art here. Look at this. And everything tells the story. Yeah, everything. That's what's beautiful about it. And the thing about this car is not a trailer queen. This car's on the streets every weekend. Really? Yeah, he drives it everywhere. Oh my gosh. Must get a lot of attention. Yeah, a lot of attention. Okay, that is for sure. I want to go out on a ride, too, so can we do that?
