Students evacuated at Bell Gardens High School

Okay, we have some breaking news. Meantime, we're going to take it over to Stu, who's in Bell Gardens. What's going on at school? It's getting evacuated, Stu. Evacuated? I don't know about that exactly, but apparently it's happening out here at Bell Gardens High School. Let's give you the information that we do know. Earlier this morning, apparently an incident with a student with a gun, and somebody's in custody. But the campus, definitely on lockdown. We're just watching as this large group of students moving from one area of the school to another. Let me show you the response, though, that's out here with law enforcement. Law enforcement definitely out here in force, and it does look like they're conducting some sort of search through the school area. A number of officers on the campus, their vehicles on the campus, and we've been watching as a couple of these officers have been going from classroom to classroom. What's going on outside the high school? Pretty much just as interesting. In this day and age, everybody's got a cell phone, and I'm sure their students are calling their parents, and their parents are showing up. Law enforcement having a little bit of an issue with parents, not that they're being unruly, but that they're showing up to pick up their children, and they don't want these parents actually at the high school. You can see a number of them right there as well. We haven't seen any kind of confrontation, but you can clearly see a lot of crime tape's been put up out there. And there's also, that's just one spot. There's another spot over here where parents are here to pick up their kids. Again, we understand one person in custody, but that search definitely continues. The school on lockdown. We haven't heard of any injuries, thank goodness for that, but a very serious situation unfolding out here in the Bell Gardens area at Bell Gardens High School.
