Good morning, Marcy, and good morning, Bronx site.
So a few things to note as we get closer to the holiday weekend,
we're now just hours away from getting things started for us.
So good news is you are going to be traveling, whether it's by air
or even on the ground.
We are expecting for weather to really cooperate
throughout the course of today and much of this weekend as well.
Saturday and Sunday staying mainly dry, but even better
is that temperatures will be around 70 degrees across the board for us.
It's all about the upper to middle to even lower 70s.
But for the rest of today,
we woke up for a couple of shower opportunities well before sunrise
throughout the rest of the day, not looking for too many opportunities
for much more rain or needing that umbrella.
Instead, open skies are what we're going to have over in Mott Haven
with temperatures rising towards the lower 80s.
So it's going to feel a bit summerlike and even humid
throughout the course of the day.
But as I mentioned before, by the time we get to the afternoon
and for our evening skies going to be on the clear side,
temperatures around the 80s.
And look at how Saturday is panning out.
Plenty of sunshine for our borough.
And you can see temperatures just peaking into the upper 70s.
Some spots might be just around 80 degrees, but humidity will be low enough
to where we're not looking at this to be very heavy in terms of our air
for our Saturday.
Instead, it's going to feel very refreshing into our Sunday
and for much, much of the weekend.
A look at today in itself, temperatures will be around 84 degrees
for Williams Bridge and for Parkchester City Island at 85 degrees
and sunshine and clouds mixing in between.
And as we head towards the weekend, mostly sunny skies, a few clouds
mixing in, but it's beautiful not only for Saturday, but especially for Sunday
where temperatures look to be around the mid 70s, the best day of the weekend.
