Meta's new $1.2 billion Kuna Data Center begins operations

We are thrilled to announce that Meta's CUNA Data Center is now online. This more than 750,000 square foot facility is part of the highly advanced infrastructure that brings our technologies to life and represents an investment of more than 1.2 billion dollars in the state of Iowa. These buildings and the hardware inside of them will help people connect, find communities, and grow businesses. Since breaking ground in 2022, we have been proud to call CUNA home. Construction of the CUNA Data Center has supported 1,600 skilled trade workers at peak. And today, 75 people work here in operational roles and we are continuing to hire. At Meta, we are committed to making a positive impact in the communities in which we operate, including Ada County and CUNA. That means supporting jobs, including hiring and sourcing materials locally, strengthening local infrastructure, investing in long-term partnership and progress, and giving back to programs that benefit this community.
