More than 20 people may be missing tonight after flash flooding at the Grand Canyon,

in the Bright Angel Creek Corridor when the storms hit on Saturday.
Jacob Luthi joins us with the details tonight.
Jacob.
Yeah, good evening, Brian.
The National Park Service says evacuations continued today after they successfully evacuated
62 people from Phantom Ranch and the North Kaibab Trail from the flooding.
And now they're looking to identify more than 20 people who may be missing.
This video shared with Fox 10 shows the moments a hiker had to be evacuated Saturday from
the Grand Canyon.
Flash flooding hit the National Park around 2.30 Saturday afternoon, leaving a path of
destruction through Bright Angel Canyon.
The National Park Service says floodwaters washed out trails and destroyed nearly every
footbridge spanning Bright Angel Creek.
Several areas remain closed as crews assess the extent of the damage to facilities in
the area.
They were there yesterday and through the night last night, and they are going to continue
to be there as the response continues.
The American Red Cross says five specialized volunteers are on the ground supporting people
who had to be evacuated.
They'll remain in the area for as long as they're needed.
We will be there until likely the last person is evacuated and taken care of.
We also try to make sure that long term they have the resources that they need, whether
that means we connect them with another agency or are able to help them ourselves.
The National Park Service is now asking for information on more than 20 individuals who
may be missing or unaccounted for from the following locations.
They ask people to call with information regarding names, travel locations, group size, clothing
and backpack descriptions.
Now no injuries have been reported yet.
There is currently no estimated timeline as to when the trails will reopen.
The National Park Service says heavy rainfall is possible today and Monday, which could
result in additional flash flooding, debris flows and rockfalls.
