Forever Home Friday: FOX 5 Zip Trip to The Wharf

Back to our zip trip here at Fox five at the wharf and man Fridays are fun here at Fox five. They are so much more fun when you've got no puppy action. Come on. Brandywine Valley S. B. C. A. Of course joining us as well as packs from the mystics, the whole team from the mystics and we'll get to that in just a bit. But first we'll introduce Aaron and some of the puppies that we have here today. Tell us about Brandywine Valley, Brandywine Valley S. B. C. A. So we're the city shelter here in Washington D. C. We have two locations on lots of dogs and cats looking for their forever homes. Okay, so who is this that you have right here today? This is broccoli. He is 3.5 months old. Then we have Rosie and Chloe are two sisters. They're two months old. And then we have mammoth there in the middle. He is three months old and they're all looking for homes. Oh my gosh, I couldn't think of a better place to do it and find them some homes today. So why don't you tell us a little bit about maybe their characteristics, what family they would fit in well the most with? Well, you know, puppies are going to require some training. So definitely, you know, families that are willing to, you know, do some training and things like that. Um, this guy right here we think is a husky mix. So they're very active dogs. Um, but you know, anybody that is willing to spend some time and work with their puppies, right? And I know you mentioned those two were siblings. Are they adoptable together? Separately is fine. I don't have to go home together. They're just litter mates. So cute. And then obviously we have to mention why packs is here today. You guys are doing something really cool with the Washington Mystics and that's happening tonight. Yeah. So tonight is the dog days of summer game with the Washington Mystics. So all of these four cuties are going to be at the game tonight available for adoption. We'll have lots of other dogs there too. Uh, not all puppies. So if you're not, you know, into, you know, having a puppy in your house, we also will have some small dogs, some large dogs. Um, but we're really excited to be working with the mystic. Yeah. And obviously it's really important to get eyes on this right to get these puppies adopted. Obviously you're going to do that at the mystics game tonight. But bringing one valley S. P. C. A. Specifically, what do you guys need? You need adoptions, you need donations, you need fosters. Yeah, absolutely. So like so many shelters across the country, we are over capacity. So if you are thinking about adding a new pet to your family, we really hope you'll consider adoption. Um, if you're not looking for a pet, there's lots of other ways for you to get involved. We have an awesome program called soldier skip day. You can just come and take a dog out for the day. You can foster short term or longer term. Um, you know, volunteer help out in the shelter and then of course donate whether that's just, you know, use towels and linens or a financial contribution. All right, well, where can we find more information if we want to adopt one of these adorable puppies? You have a website, social media, things like that. Sure. So all of our adoptable animals are on our website, which is B. B. S. P. C. A. Dot org slash D. C. Okay, awesome. That and of course, watch mystics. They're gonna have on social media. They're gonna have all of these puppies up on their social media all day long. And then the game tonight, we love to come out and support local sports. So we're gonna do so tonight with both of those combination together. We love it. So say bye from the puppies. Let's get a little way. Can we get a little wave? We're here from the Fox five trip to the work of that.
