Freshly Milled Bread & Homemade Ice Cream

Today I’m spending a slow summer day in the kitchen making freshly milled sourdough bread and homemade toasted coconut ice cream from scratch.

I only bake with freshly milled flour now, and it has brought so much joy back into baking for me. There is something so special about working with ingredients slowly and intentionally, especially on warm quiet days like this one.
